Andres performs an eclectic mix of Flamenco, Latin, Jazz and World guitar styles, rich and exciting enough for the more attentive listeners, but pleasant and mellow enough to be used as background music during receptions or dinners.
Andres studied guitar in his native Spain at the "Conservatorio Superior de Musica Victoria Eugenia", and Music Education at the "Facultad de Ciencias de la Educacion" (University of Granada) and moved to London in 2001 in order to expand his musical horizons. His various musical projects include a trio, where he plays his own material, Andres specialises in flamenco guitar sounds and techniques, but also incorporates jazz, latin and popular styles in his diverse repertoire, and has extensive experience playing for weddings, dinners, receptions and corporate events across the UK.
Andres is also available as a duo (a percussionist specialising in flamenco, jazz and latin music), and a trio (with the addition of bass guitar). Both individually and as a group they've performed in prestigious London venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Sadlers Wells, Jazz Cafe and the Barbican in addition to holding residencies in the Oxo Tower, Quaglinos, Bank Restaurant and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. They've collaborated with jazz, latin and flamenco artists including Alec Dankworth, Chris Garrick, Rafael de Utrera, Tim Garland, Jorge Bravo, Phill Robson, Nicolas Meier and Mark Lockheart.
