• Capital Soul were the ideal band for our Saltaire Festival Silver Ball - they had people dancing all night and brought just the right level of fun and glamour to the event. The dance floor was often packed and I had great feedback from a very contented crowd and worn out crowd afterwards.

• To be honest music wasn't initially a priority for our wedding, we knew we wanted a live band but didn’t want to spend too much! When we heard Capital Soul on the day we were just blown away. Their set was just perfect - suited all ages and I (the bride) was up dancing for every song. In particular, we all LOVED the Michael Jackson medley and The Killers to finish off with. We would very much recommend this band for a wedding/party. Dan was so great, easy to get hold of and very happy to learn our first dance!

• Capital Soul were completely fantastic at our wedding and literally had people on the dance floor from start to finish.
  They were incredibly entertaining and built up an immediate rapport with the 'crowd', and I vaguely recall the lead singer leading a conga style line of 50 people walking past me!
  I feel we paid a lot for the band but we got so much in return. It was clear, and this was reiterated by several guests who are professional musicians, that these were a talented bunch of people.

• I just wanted to drop a line just to congratulate the band. There were definitely one of the highlights of our wedding, with many guests still commenting on how amazing they were- so many have said best band they've heard at a wedding. Our first dance sounded amazing live and their set kept people dancing all night, which was just what we wanted. • We booked Capital Soul for our wedding reception last October. They were fantastic! Their repertoire was extensive and they accommodated all our wishes, including the first dance. They were responsive to the level of sound and even worked round my husband’s speech! Many of our friends asked who they were and where they came from. We would certainly book them again. • Having spent many hours trawling through countless agencies searching for a `affordable quality` band for our sailing clubs centenary ball in June 09, we came across Capital Soul via your website. Having found the website itself easy to access and the contact with yourselves, Ali in particular, to be 1st rate, we went ahead with booking Capital Soul. We really thought our chances of securing these guys were slim as i believe they’re based in Yorkshire and we`re down in the Portsmouth area, 7 hrs drive away. However, they were keen enough to do the event and drove all day, arriving just 5 mins after their ETA. From the moment we met them they were enthusiastic and professional. They took to the stage and half way through their 1st song most of our 300 strong crowd were up dancing and by the half way stage, everyone was up. The standard of music was amazing and their obvious enthusiasm was contagious, we soon had a real `party` atmosphere going, not easy when the age group ranged from 18-86 yrs! We could not fault them in any department and Dan,who seemed to be the main contact was so helpful at all times.We just wish we could come up with another reason to hire Capital Soul sooner rather than later!
