What people say Help

  • We had a wide span of age groups to cater for at our event and Dakota met those needs brilliantly. I don't remember there being a moment when the dance floor was not fully occupied and the feedback from the evening confirms that. I would thoroughly recommend them for any occasion.

    Jackie, Corporate, August 2010
  • Dakota were everything that we were looking for. Very professional and their performance was fantastic. We had a large spread of ages (18-60) and everyone was on the dance floor. They sounded very like the bands they were covering which was one of the most important things for us and everyone was hugely impressed with them. Thanks for making it a fantastic evening. Thank you for providing an excellent service and I have spread the word!!

  • Sorry it's taken so long but my wife and I just wanted to say a huge, huge thank you to you guys for making the evening of our wedding on 7th April such a fantatstic event. As expected, you guys were brilliant and really had the place rocking. I personally didn't want to leave the dancefloor - maybe that's why I don't remember talking to many guests?!
We had so many positive comments from our guests and people asking how we'd found you that if our friends were younger and unmarried I think you could well have had a few more bookings!
We hope you guys enjoyed the evening and thanks again for all your efforts.

  • I watched you all at the St. George's Gig you did for the Army on Friday, and Oh my god, you were grrreat. The songs chosen were superb and I couldn't stop singing to every song, and after a few drinks I even jumped in heels and a skirt, lol. If I'd of known you were going to do such jumping and well performed tunes I'd of brought my converses to hit the ceiling properly. Thanks for a surprisingly (as they usually play 70's and 80's Disco at these do's) great night! If I need a band for a party I know who to contact!

  • Now the wedding and the honeymoon are (unfortunately) over, Hannah and I wanted to write a quick note to say thank you so much for your services at our wedding.
The performance was excellent and really got the crowd going.
Many of our guests remarked on how good the band were and having you there really added to what was a fantastic day

    Matt and Hannah, Wedding, 2010
  • I thought I would drop you an email to put into writing how fantastic you all were on our wedding day.
You were professional in the lead up to the wedding - calling to confirm details etc., and on the day - well you filled the floor which says it all.
You were amazing. Tune after tune was brilliantly played - I think I must be the only bride not to have left the dance floor at all! So many people have commented since on how wicked you were and I have had people ask for your contact details too. Worth every single penny - the perfect ending to the best day of our lives.
Thank You! PS I am organising a school reunion for next year so may be in contact again soon!

  • Just wanted to thank you for a great show at Christian and Kim's wedding on Friday.
Really amazing performance all round, great adaptation on all the songs and you genuinely seemed to be enjoying yourselves all night.
If you get your own stuff together, I'd be interested to hear it.

    Andy, Wedding, 2007
  • Hello guys, just got back from (Sweet Home) a La Tania! You were the fab band who made my holiday. I was the crazy nurse singing along and prancing about in front of you... come to Sussex and do some gigs and you never know, I might send you a photo of the uniform...
Hope the arm's better Mr.Guit.

    Laura, French Alps, 2007
  • Dakota were not the cheapest band we looked at but were very good value for money, easy to deal with and provided us with high quality entertainment. All of our guests and even the hotel management commented on how good the band were. We would highly recommend them, it really made our wedding really special. Thanks.

    Liz, Wedding, August 2008
  • The band were excellent, just a shame they could not go on longer!

Simon and Rebecca, Wedding, December 2005
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my party on December 10th and the band were brilliant. Everyone commented on how good they were and how they got the party going, I was impressed at their professionalism and how they gauged the mood of the event and responded accordingly. Several people asked me how I found them and I have passed the website details on so I'm sure there will be some repeat business.

    Cora, Party, December 2005
  • I would like to thank you for making our wedding a night to remember, all anyone was talking about was the band and even now you still get mentioned. Me and the groom play in a play in a local band so appreciate good musicianship and we both thought you were the tightest band we have ever seen.

Thanks again and all the best.

    D Jeffreys, Wedding. 2005
  • Best Live band I've ever seen.

    Ben Jones, Presenter Virgin Radio
  • What can I say guys. You did it again. The team love working with you. We are going to have to have more events to get you back!

    Jan, Corporate Event, December 2005
  • We're just back from honeymoon and just wanted to say a very big (if slightly belated) thank you! You were totally brilliant and we couldn't believe you managed to have every last person inside dancing on such a beautiful warm night! I can't remember a time Duncs and I have had more fun dancing the night away - all night I just kept thinking - oh my god - this is my favourite - to every single tune and I think you saw for yourselves how much Duncs enjoyed the sets!!

Big thank you to you all and hopefully we'll have another chance to get you along to our / one of our many guests' (all of whom loved you too) next big do!
 Thanks so much!

    Jo and Duncan, Wedding, 2005
  • Just to say a great big THANK YOU for last Saturday.
What a night - I haven't seen that many people 'po-go-ing' for about 20 years! Absolutely ROCKING - everyone really enjoyed you guys, and said you were the best band they had heard. You made our wedding night complete and perfect.
We knew you where going to be good when we heard the demo, and watched the video footage,
But you guys where even better live.

Once again - Thank You.

    Vanessa and Russ, Wedding
  • Just back from our honeymoon and wanted to say a HUGE thank you for playing at our wedding. To say you rocked would be an understatement - you were totally awesome! Great tunes aside, you guys are also a totally slick and professional team in terms of set-up, delivery and performance etc. The perfect choice! Thank you and hope to see you again sometime soon! All the very best,

Jools and Laurence, Wedding, September 2005
  • Just wanted to say a HUGE thanks for Saturday night. You were all totally amazing and made the night complete. You are going to be the talking point of the night for years to come.

I hope to see you all again soon, everyone is a bit sick of hearing me rave about you now I think! And seriously, I have a sheet full of girls names who are desperate to meet you (a few boys as well actually!!) and I may pass them onto you for a small fee!! Anyway, take care and thanks again for making the night!!

    Catherine, School Ball, July 2005
  • Thanks for making our day so memorable.

Your performance was truly excellent and everyone present has passed some sort of comment as to how good the band were. You are all very professional and we will have no hesitation in recommending you. Many many thanks a good luck with the band. You are without question the best all round tribute band we have ever heard and worth every single penny of the fee. Do you play public gigs ? The Green Day was excellent Thanks. One to consider, I predict a riot by Kaiser Chiefs. Great sound and your kind of stuff.

Many many many thanks. Hope to see you again in the future.

Paul and Karry, Wedding, May 2005
  • Hey Dakota, How are you? Everyone is missing you out here. You can hear people saying stuff like "wish Dakota were still here" or "not as good as Dakota" lol I think its funny, just thought I would let you know so you guys really knew how GREAT you ALL are, yes Jack your amazing on the guitar, Rich you have a fantastic voice, Dave your wicked on the drums and Christian (Jimi) your the best bass player we've seen. Right hope I've made your heads swell a bit but you guys really are good.
