DJ Jon C

Jon has been hired for anything from 18 year old birthday parties, chic weddings, posh 50th birthdays and even a gig on top of the Gherkin building for a big Hollywood movie director!

Highly skilled at reading crowds and with a very un-pretentious style, Jon has received outstanding feedback in his 7 years as a professional DJ. He knows how to work an audience and do what ever is required to tear up a good party! Jon can play every genre of music under the sun, from Funk/Soul/Swing to House, Electro to Indie/Rock to Hip-Hop. He loves to play dance-floor smashes and has a (not) Guilty Pleasure for a great pop song. Jon is also competent with mic work with a charming and tounge-and-cheek style (and he also knows when it isn't required!)

Up until the age of 22, Jon worked for national club promotors Fat Poppadaddys as their flagship DJ, running hugely successful nights at clubs with capacities from 300 > 2000 at just about every red-brick uni town in the UK!

Jon has a huge 400GB library of music and can source specific songs when required. He's happy to provide warm-up music from a pre-mixed CD (eg. swing, soul, Motown), before his main sets in the evening. Jon is polite, flexible, courteous, and will do everything possible to ensure you have a fantastic night!

We recommend making a list of around 50 songs that you’d like Jon to play, and submitting these to us in advance. If you prefer you could give him a simple list of styles to stick to. Alternatively, just leave it to his discretion on the night, and he'll "read" the crowd and take requests on the night. Jon would bring thousands of songs to each wedding covering everything from golden oldies to modern chart hits, with choices to suit all age ranges.
