Sam has experience DJ-ing at a wide range of venues, events and functions, including bars, clubs, weddings, staff parties, theme nights, school discos and more. His comprehensive playlist spans past, present and future and will ensure that all tastes, ages and cultures have a truly wonderful time whatever the occasion.
Themed event options include face painting fun, games, bubble machine parties and karaoke. Sam has a music collection which spans a wide range of tracks from the past, present and future on both CD and vinyl.
Sam is able to play appropriate background music as your guests arrive, as well as music for dancing and is happy to work with Function Central's bands to create a seamless night’s entertainment. He can also liaise with your party planner and venue to make everything run smoothly on the day. We recommend making a list of around 50 songs that you’d like Sam to play, and submitting these to us in advance. You can also make as many additional requests as you like on the night. Sam would bring at least 5000 songs to each wedding covering everything from golden oldies to modern chart hits, with choices to suit all age ranges.

He is an extremely nice guy who took the time to phone us beforehand to find out if we had any songs we would like him to play and this followed through to the day. His sets included a mix of music that kept the dance floor packed all night and there was one particular song we had played towards the end of the night at which he did a great job of ensuring absolutely everyone was on the floor as we requested. The second to last song (Sandstorm, Darude) is an absolute favourite of both of ours – just a shame we had a slow dance to finish off! All we need to do now is find an excuse to book him again! And he ensured he played all the ones I said I definitely wanted playing. His equipment is all of a very high standard and the set up looked fantastic. The lighting was also excellent. On a personal note, Sam is a wonderful guy with a great personality and he was very friendly to our guests. He was also great at encouraging people up on the dance floor. I really cannot recommend him highly enough - he ensured we had a fantastic wedding reception.
