The Jumpingist Jivers in town - from their togged-out period clothes to their in between-song banter, Five Guys Named Moe play swingy-jazzy-bluesy-jivey music to fill any dancefloor!
Formed from their passion for Western swing jive 'n' jump blues music and heavily influenced by Louis Jordan, Wynonie Harris and Bob Wills, this 5-piece band from Kent have performed their musical mix to weddings festivals and corporate events and have been featured in live session on BBC radio.
The band have performed at countless weddings, private parties, and other events. Notable corporate clients include Rolex, Pfizer, the Bond Street Association, The London Marathon, The InterContinental Hotel Westminster and The Shard.
They've played at charity fundraising balls for Cancer Research and the British Red Cross, at popular jazz venues including the Bulls Head Barnes and Pizza Express, and at the Royal Albert Hall, and they've performed live on BBC Radio Kent.

What people say
We were extremely satisfied with Five Guys Named Moe; elated to be precise. They arrived promptly and set up quietly without disturbing our wedding breakfast. We had a short gap before the evening reception which is when they sound checked, and even that sounded good. After playing our first dance through the PA as it was a slightly unusual choice (Together You & I - Dolly Parton), we requested that the first song they play was "Rock around the Clock" as Emma and her dad used to dance to it when she was a child. They were the first on the dance floor and then everyone joined in. It was a great start to the evening and really got everyone rocking. The band knew exactly where to pitch the sets to keep the atmosphere going, and we have had no end of comments about how fantastic the band were. They added some funk tracks in to the last set, which kept the party going right till the end.

Five Guys Named Mo were absolutely fantastic, full of energy and character we loved them. Lots of our guests have commented on the brilliant music which had such a spark and verve about it. Function Central made the whole booking process a breeze and the band were very helpful beforehand too. We would definitely, and thoroughly recommend both.

Both Clare and I wanted to thank you all so very much for a great performance at our wedding on the 20th December! It was exactly what we wanted and without any doubt made the day perfect and one to remember! Everyone I have spoken to since has said "what a brilliant band!" So thank you guys for topping off a fantastic day, (with particular reference to our opening song, I'm just sorry my dancing didn't do your music justice!) I know we will be seeing you again in the near future at one of your gigs

Thanks again for a fantastic performance on Saturday - our boss was tuned in, and made a point of saying how good you and the guys were, so I've suggested we use you again for our stand at the Kent County Show later this year. He said it was a good idea and would keep you in mind. I will do my best to get along to your CD launch, but if I can't make it.........Have a fantastic night!!!!!
