Since being unable to accept knighthoods back in 2008 due to a gig commitment at The Murderer’s Arms in London’s Shepherds Bush on the same day, the duo have adapted to playing a wide assortment of venues in and around the UK and USA. Originally formed back in 2001, they mainly worked for Her Royal Highness The Queen of England, providing the music and general vibe at Royal Functions within Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and Sandringham and sailed the high seas as the house band on the QE2. This allowed them to establish a large repertoire (Funk-Rare Groove-Lounge-Jazz--Pyschedelic) and build up a celebrity-packed fanbase.

Individually the guys have played with James Morrison, The Third Degree and Adrian Meehan, who is the musical director of the world famous entertainment act the Cuban Brothers, and have played drums for artists including Robbie Willams, Mica Paris, the Overtones and Norwegian band Datarock.

Now back performing for the peasants since their decade on higher ground came to an end, they are eager and available as the perfect accompaniment for parties, wedding and corporate functions, by adding that extra class that gets noticed. The duo can be joined by a collection of top class singers if required.

What people say Help

  • They were super! Really efficient and easy, polite and on time! We spoke on the morning of the event, they had arrived and were set up before we got there. Everyone loved the music, very talented and lots of variety. The sound was perfect but they were conscious about asking whether we needed anything quieter/louder etc. Would definitely recommend!

  • They were fantastic!!! Really nice guys who made the night special with their music which was perfect for what we wanted! Highly recommend them for any event and would definitely use them again.

  • Gin & tonic were absolutely incredible - we felt compelled to write a testimonial that will hopefully be of some use… We searched long and hard trying to find the perfect band for our wedding. With limited space we thought we would have to settle for a traditional jazz three piece, which was not really what we had in mind. We almost gave up looking, but struck gold when we discovered Gin & Tonic. Their style is completely unique - a drums/organ duo flawlessly funking up all manner of classic pop and rock tunage. The guys are hugely talented technically and were consummate professionals. They absolutely made our evening reception and it still makes us smile thinking about it now! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
