Mark completed a piano degree at the Escola Superior de Musica de Catalunya (Barcelona). Thanks to sponsorship from the Anglo-Spanish Society, Caja España Foundation, RSAMD Stevenson Trust and AIE Grants he continued his studies at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and later at the Royal College of Music. He has won more than fifteen national and international awards and has collaborated internationally with professional orchestras such as the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and international soloists such as Marco Porcu and Maximiliano Martin.

Mark has played for many years at different venues, musicals and cabarets around England, Scotland, Spain and Italy, including luxurious restaurants and hotels, private cocktail parties and corporate events. His work as a top London wedding pianist as taken him to some of the South East's most prestigious venues. His corporate work has included performances for Deutsche Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Le Cercle Restaurant (Chelsea), John Lewis Brasserie (Oxford Street). He has also taken on residencies for Mare Nostrum Resort in Tenerife.

In 2001 he toured around Spain for three years playing and improvising his own compositions. He was also an artist in residency for Le Ville Matte in Sardinia 2010 and he has recorded professionally for The Natural Studio Records and also for Warner Music Spain.

Mark has a good command of several styles, including jazz, opera, classical, film music, contemporary, musicals, Latin, classic popular, light music, pop, romantic, Spanish and Italian repertoire. He has also arranged well known tunes and wedding songs for piano and other professional ensembles.
