The Oasis Steel Trio comprises some of the finest steel pan players in the UK, and are as comfortable performing sophisticated ballads as they are the liveliest of traditional calypsos. Vocal option also available.

Special offer! 15% discounts for midweek bookings (Sun eve - Thursday eve).

The band have been performing together for the last 15 years and are now one of the best known steel bands on the wedding, party and corporate event circuit. Their repertoire encompasses traditional calypsos and Caribbean folk music with Latin and popular 'standards' fleshing out our repertoire.

The band  and are perfect for a range of events with (or without!) a tropical theme: Caribbean nights, private parties, wedding receptions, corporate events, product and project launches etc. in venues as diverse as hotels, festivals, schools, TV and radio studios, village halls, pubs and restaurants. In so doing, they make it their business to transport your imagination to the most idyllic sun and rum-soaked Caribbean vacation you have ever or never had! Their reputation has been enhanced by impressive television work over the last few years, as well as a busy touring schedule that has seen them perform in Europe, Africa and Asia.

The band's most popular line-up is either an acoustic duo or trio, which is a particularly popular choice for summer weddings, company barbecues and other events requiring the ‘sunshine’ sound that a steel band brings. The bass pan player, Paul, can add lead vocals as an optional extra.

If you require the band for dancing (most people will find the acoustic trio too 'light' rhythmically, and therefore unsuitable for dancing), the band can bass guitar and a drummer, for a heavier rhythm. This option is always recommended if you want to pack the dance floor! The band can further be extended right up to a 12-piece band, for large corporate events.

What people say

  • Big thanks to Oasis for performing at our UKTV company Christmas party. They were fab and great to find a steel band that plays Christmas Carols so well!

Rebecca, UKTV Christmas party, London, December 2009
  • Oasis rocked our company Christmas party. Our tuneless group of carol singers would have been lost without their fantastic musical accompaniment!

Tom Lucas, Christmas party, London, December 2009
  • Oasis played at our wedding earlier this month in suffolk, it was an usual choice for the location but it went down so well, all the guests and the staff at the venue loved them, I can't praise them enough. Hope they go on to have a wonderful and long career!

  • We got everything right for Jeanne's 70th birthday. The best weather of the year. A fantastic conjurer and Frank Sinatra double to sing but Oasis set the mood perfectly. Oasis were unobtrusive when setting up. Our long experience of groups when we had events at our Inn in Derbyshire was that the groups were intrusive, insensitive and demanding. The music they played was enjoyed by everyone and did not intrude on conversation. Almost all our guest complimented Jeanne on her choice on Oasis in their thank you notes. I personal found all three of the Oasis band to be charming when I spoke with them. They were perfect for a family party with ages ranging from teenage to grandparents.

  • Thank you for organising the booking. The band were playing outside the crematorium when we drew up in the cars playing to the surprised waiting guests, it was really lovely and touching, my father would have loved it.

When we came out of the service they were playing under the trees beside the flowers whilst the guests paid their respects. Although it was quite windy the sun was shining and they really added a special touch.

They came back to the restaurant and again played a excellent choice of background music to perfection which was loved by everybody, this put my mother, sisters and myself at ease knowing that he would have loved this send-off.

They were 3 very nice guys and were appreciated by everyone.

  • Oasis played our big gay wedding (ok, technically our 'Civil Partnership celebration!) this August, 2009. The guys were fab! Hugely well-received by our guests, they struck just the right chord (pun intended!)for pre-disco musical ambience. They were well-liked by adults and kids alike! Refreshingly easy to book and deal with, having them there added a unique and stress-free dimension to our wonderful day. Oasis made our special day that much more special, and our straight/gay audience loved them in equal measure. Highly recommened! Thanks guys!
