Female-fronted 3/4-piece Panama’s soaring vocals, burning guitars and energetic bass riffs have kept them busy with corporate functions, parties and weddings since they formed in 2005. They combine groovy ‘60s soul with cutting-edge pop such as Amy Winehouse, working up a storm on the dance floor. They are available as an acoustic duo, a 3-piece band with vocals, guitar and bass, or a 4-piece band with vocals, guitar, bass and drums.
The band have a distinguished CV: TV appearances include ITV’s Madonna Mania and X Factor, and members of the band have backed Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne at the Olympic Torch Concert in front of an audience of 70,000; played with metal heroes Pitchshifter at the London Astoria; performed at the opening of the Commonwealth Games; supported boy band Busted; supported The Streets and Beverly Knight at the Royal Albert Hall; sung backing vocals for Liberty X, G4, Javine and Greg Lake; and taught Luke Pritchard of The Kooks to sing!
