Sam is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, completing his masters degree there with the 'Sir Philip Shelbourne Award for Brass'.
Sam's varied career has seen him perform with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra and the Orpheus Sinfonia whilst also performing solo arias and oratorios as part of the London Handel Festival. He has also recorded fanfares for BBC Radio 3, performed fanfare's for Premier Radio's Christmas Day Service, performed concerti at the Royal Albert Hall and St John's Smith Square and played fanfare's for His Royal Highness Prince Charles.
Sam is much in demand as a ceremonial trumpeter and has provided music for services at some of the UK's most prestigious venues - Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Central Hall, St Paul's Cathedral, St George's Cathedral, Southwark Cathedral and Wells Cathedral to name a few.
As a versatile musician, Sam prides himself on being able to tailor his playing to suit your needs. He knows all the repertoire from memory and can adapt his performances to suit any acoustic. Whether its the largest of cathedral's or the smallest of halls, he can add that special touch of grandeur to your day.
