Siobhan leads a busy life as a freelance wedding harpist, performing for weddings & corporate functions all over the country in between tours with the Moscow Ballet and The London Sinfonia orchestras. Also available as a harp/flute duo.
Siobhan studied harp with Alice Chalifoux (regarded as one of the world’s leading harp teachers), who is also former principle of The Cleveland Orchestra. She returned to England to finish her studies at London’s Trinity College of Music with Charlotte Seale and Imogen Barford.
Siobhan now leads a busy life as a freelance harpist, performing with a variety of orchestras that The City of Moscow Ballet and The London Sinfonia and undertaking solo recitals at prestigious venues such as St James’ Palace. She is also frequently employed for session work for various DJ’s on the London and European dance scene. Siobhan plays extensively for all manner of events including corporate cocktail parties, award ceremonies, private parties and weddings. She has performed throughout the world for dignitaries that include Nelson Mandela, and The Princess of Thailand. Siobhan plays regularly at London’s top venues including The Natural History Museum, Claridges, The Savoy, and Kensington Palace. She plays a wide variety of music catering for all tastes and occasions.
Siobhan feels equally happy playing all genres of music, from classical, folk, popular to jazz and requests may be accommodated. She is also more than happy to suggest suitable music for any occasion. Siobhan is also available to perform as a harp/flute duo (audio clips for the harp/flute duo are available under "audio" to the right).
