Soneando's recent appearances include Camden Latin Music Festival, regular shows at the Kings Head Crouch End, Heineken Green Festival, Cork, Momo's London.

Lead singer Jesus hails from Las Tunas in the heart of Cuba. He worked extensively in Cuba before settling in the UK 8 years ago. As well as playing with the band Jesus is currently touring with popular fusion band Ska Cubano. Jesus is a lively and exciting lead singer famed for his vocal improvisations and always the life and soul of the party.

Sara, bandleader and piano player, is well known on the UK Salsa scene, and has played, written and arranged for many of the top bands in the country. Sara teaches annually in Havana Cuba where she has played and studied with musicians from the Buenavista Social Club.

Elpidio, bass and vocals, is a top salsa bass player much in demand both in the UK and Colombia, where he hails from. He is also an amazing singer and has great rapport with audiences.

Bill the conga player, is an amazing and versatile musician, also extremely well known. He knows Cuban Music and Salsa inside out and plays with a spirit that will take your breath away.

  • Sorry it has taken me so long to reply but it was such a good party that it has taken us a week or so to recover. The band, Soneando were absolutely brilliant! They were exactly what we wanted and in fact I invited my salsa teacher who danced all night and joined them on the stage at one point. We were all in fancy dress as latinos and the whole night was a rip-roaring success. I know the band will get more venues from that night alone and we would love to know where they are playing so that we can all keep in touch and follow them like a bunch of ageing groupies! We managed to transform our village hall into downtown rio for a night and I have to say without Soneando it would not have worked. Hope they enjoyed it too. Please pass on our best wishes and thanks to them. They were class.

  • Soneando were absolutely superb. The party was a massive success, mainly due to them. My husband, Martin who's surprise 40th it was, was blown away by the music. He actually had an inkling that something was afoot but had no idea about the band. They were so professional, laid back and 'cool'(!) everyone has been asking about them. So thank you Soneando for making the party a real night to remember for years to come. I could not have asked for more.
