• My wife and I hired Soul Purpose for our wedding. We trawled pretty much every website and listened to samples of many bands and felt that from what we heard from the group over the net was the best sound and take on the type of music we wanted for our big day. We were not disappointed. The band set up with absolutely no fuss and we completely flexible both before the wedding in terms of the sets they would play and also on the evening when a few things had overrun. From the start the music was fantastic - and everyone at the wedding and indeed afterwards were asking how we found the band and commented on how good they were. The guys are also all really nice people and had a quick beer with us after their set and helped make the whole experience a perfect one for our big day. I would without hesitation recommend the band to anyone- and finally get to thank them properly for a great set!!

• I hired the band for my 50th Birthday party. I thought they were excellent, played exactly the kind of music I was looking for and which got everyone up on the floor dancing – even from the first song which is always difficult. The singers were superb and everyone enjoyed the interactive session, especially me! All of my guests were very complimentary about the band and we all had a brilliant time. In fact, we’re still talking about the party and what an excellent band they were. Function Central provided a straightforward service and I easily identified the type of band I was looking for. • Having only heard the sound bites on the web for Soul Purpose I was very nervous as to what they would sound like in the flesh on the night of my 40th - I have to say that there was no need to have worried at all - they were absolutely excellent! Everyone commented on how professional they were and how great they sounded - I was very, very pleased with their performance. In addition, they were very flexible over setting up early and adjusted their time slots on the night to suit the mood of the party. I would have no hesitation over booking them again.
