We can't praise this band enough. They were amazing!!! They set up whilst guests were enjoying drinks but we could hardly tell as they did it with zero fuss. The sets themselves were professionally done. At one point my mum thought it was a CD playing and not the band playing - that's how talented these guys are. Between sets and after the party had ended, I had a good chat with them all. They were so friendly that it was more like having your friends playing at your wedding than strangers.

The band were great, from the moment they started playing I was impressed. They were lovely to speak to as well and we received some great comments about them too. In the run up to the wedding they were also really friendly and helpful and put up with my numerous emails which was really appreciated. I really enjoyed listening to them play and danced much more than I had expected to which was a bonus!

Thank you so much for Saturday night, you guys were amazing and helped make the evening perfect for us. We've had so many people commenting on how good you were and the varied songs you did fit the guests perfectly.
Also a massive thank you for learning our first dance song, it made it so much more personnel and both myself & Vicki were over the moon with it.
I'll definitely be recommending you to friends and family for their weddings!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our wedding evening a big success, you guys were fantastic! We especially appreciated that you learnt our song at such short notice when the info had not been passed on to you. That was so good of you... and made it really special! Lots of our guests loved you and one has taken your details to book you for her wedding next year. Thanks again!

The band were fantastic! Everyone commented on how good they were and a lot of people asked how we had found them. They were all really friendly and quickly set up without any disruption to us or our guests. I would recommend them for anyone who is looking for a band and we have already passed their details on to one of our guests.
We had a great night.... a massive thank you to the lads!!
From start to finish, I think out of our whole wedding, booking the band was the least stressful part! Everything down to the phone calls and emails have been prompt and with all of the information which we needed to make the decision to book them.

Dear Beverley, I just want to say a big thank you to you, the band and Function Central in general. The band were brilliant! You have also been very swift and professional with my inquiries, which I am very grateful for. Thank you!
Liz, Wedding, February 2012
I booked Strange Fruit for our work Christmas party and was worried how some of our more reserved staff would react to live music. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed and people were coming over to me telling me how great these guys are! Two people even wanted their details so they could book them for their own wedding and birthday parties!!! A really friendly, professional and talented bunch of lads obviously having a lot fun doing what they do. Book them! Thanks for making the night go so well lads.
Kathy, Company Xmas Party, Leeds, December 2010
I first saw Strange Fruit at my friend's wedding and they were my first choice when I got married a year later. They were smart, polite and professional throughout, and set up quickly with a minimum of fuss. With the live music, and the music between sets they had something for everyone. All our friends and relatives commented on the great night they had had. We would strongly recommend this band!
