What people say Help

  • Dear Beverley

Dear Beverley, I just want to say a big thank you to you, the band and Function Central in general. The band were great, all the guests told me how good they were. They were brilliant. You have also been very swift and professional with my inquiries, which I am very grateful for. Thank you!

  • Strange Fruit were absolutely perfect for our wedding. Everyone danced from the first song through to the end, shoes came off and the floor rocked!! We couldn't have had a better band and choice of music - lots of guests commented on how good they were. We chose "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" as our first dance and I thought they performed it brilliantly ...and then...they did it again on demand and rocked it up a notch - mind blowing!!! Please thank them from us. Your agency and service are very professional and we felt very comfortable having completed the questionnaire knowing that everything was covered especially things we would never have thought of. You dealt with our enquiries in a prompt and friendly way. Thank you.

  • They were eminently professional, polite and helpful, willing to help out with calling the raffle tickets and smartly presented. The music was ideal for the evening and was extremely well played. They got people dancing which is always difficult at these sort of events! They interacted with the audience well and didn’t mind drunk people shouting at them for more….. Many people have commented on how good they were. Thanks very much for all your help and pass on my thanks again to the band.

  • I booked Strange Fruit for our works Christmas party and was worried how some of our more reserved staff would react to live music. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed and people were coming over to me telling me how great these guys are! Two people even wanted their details so they could book them for their own wedding and Birthday partys!!! A really friendly, professional and talented bunch of lads obviously having a lot fun doing what they do. Book them! Thanks for making the night go so well lads.

  • I first saw Strange Fruit at my friend's wedding and they were my first choice when I got married a year later. They were smart, polite and professional throughout, and set up quickly with a minimum of fuss. With the live music, and the music between sets they had something for eveyone. All our friends and relatives commented on the great night they had had. We would strongly recommend this band!
