Ultra-hip swinging trio who create a unique new twist on jazz standards and classic pop tunes alike from Frank Sinatra to The Beatles.
Led by an excellent young New York-trained jazz pianist with a sweet soulful voice to match and backed by a tight and swinging rhythm, the Alley Cats play funky contemporary arrangements from the likes of Sinatra, the Beatles, Nat King Cole and Elvis Presley, which breathe a whole new life into some of the favourite moments in pop music – a must for your event!
Credits as individuals or as a band include an appearance on Later with Jools Holland, the BBC Radio 2 Jonathan Ross show, the Mark Lamarr show and ITV Movie Music Mania, as well as performing for Stella McCartney’s 08 Fashion Show to an audience including Sir Paul McCartney Yoko Ono Olivia Harrison and Sir George Martin all seated in the front row!
Band members have also worked with Candie Payne, Natasha Hamilton (Atomic Kitten) and Colin Vearncombe, The Zutons and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. They have toured extensively in Europe, Japan and North America
