Young, cool, female-fronted function band with four talented musicians who’ve done almost everything: supported Pete Doherty, launched luxury brands at Harrods and played at the O2 and for the BBC.

Special offer! 20% off all low season dates (October - November 2011 & January - April 2012)

Fronted by a charismatic singer with great energy and stage presence, The Beats are outstanding live performers. With a huge repertoire stretching from sixties classics to current hits they can fashion a set list for any wedding, corporate event or private party.

Between them, band members have supported and played with a number of major artists including Razorlight, Madness, The Kooks, Pete Doherty and Babyshambles. They’ve performed at famous hotels such as the Savoy and Claridges, at fashionable north London music venues including Proud Camden and the Islington Academy and at the O2. They’ve played at designer product launches at Harrods and at the launch party for the computer game “Guitar Hero, Metallica”. Corporate clients include many household names, for instance Marks and Spencer, the National Portrait Gallery and the BBC.

The Beats are young, cool and entertaining. They constantly rehearse new material to keep their sound and set list as fresh as possible. Though they never take themselves too seriously, you can also be sure that they’ll never over-do the obvious function band “cheese factor”!

Offering a complete package for all manner of events, The Beats can add a trumpet player and saxophonist for a funky six-piece line-up, and they also offer an acoustic duo or trio option for wedding champagne receptions or dinners.

What people say Help

  • I would definitely book The Beats again. They were well organised and punctual and played exactly to plan. The music was great and all age groups were up and dancing!

  • The Beats were brilliant at our wedding in July! I was personally very impressed with the way they engaged with the audience and every song was perfect for the night. Thank you so much for making our wedding night, the booking process was very easy and stress free as well!

    Sue, Wedding
  • Amazing performance from The Beats! Thank you so much, I will book you every year for our Christmas and business parties. Your chilled out acoustic set was great too!

    Matt, The Multimedia Business
  • We just wanted to say a huge thank you. You had the perfect set lists and everyone was extremely happy. I think that my dad's "dance moves" and rather impressive pelvic thrusts may have shown that - but honestly a great time was had by all, made perfect by you 4 : )
I have passed on your details and will definitely be recommending you to others.
    Thanks again!

  • Hi guys, Thank you so much for an amazing set at Caswell House on the 19th of August.
All of our friends and family commented on what a great band you were and everyone certainly had a great night rocking out on the dance floor, we didn't want it to end! Thanks again.

  • We hired the Beats for our wedding in July this year. They had an excellent repertoire and the singer has an amazing voice. We were dancing all night! Our guests thought the band were so good many of them said they would like to book them in the future. My husband is a singer and they asked him to join in for a few songs. This was a real highlight of the wedding and made it great fun! I would easily recommend them.

  • Hi guys, where do I start, I just want to say thank you so much for making mine and Hannah’s wedding so special at The Plaza hotel in Westminster. You got our first dance down to a T and everyone couldn’t believe how great you were. We’ll be sending you some pictures very soon. Keep on rocking and please stay in touch!

  • Huge thank you for your fantastic performance at our wedding evening last week; you were so entertaining, our guests loved the music and I really enjoyed joining you for the opening song!! A great group and would thoroughly recommend you all to anyone looking for a great repertoire of feel-good songs! All were great but I think "Proud Mary", "Sex on Fire" and "I bet you look good on the dancefloor" were classics!!

  • What can we say? We were worried that it would be difficult to fill the dance floor at our wedding last week as it was only small, but we couldn't have been more wrong! The playlist was great and everyone had a great time. You guys made the day perfect so thanks a million!

  • Our wedding was on 28 May 2011 and we have to say The Beats were brilliant! Such a good singer and the rest of the band were so good. All our guest had a fantastic time and all strutted their stuff on the dance floor, young and old! One of the big talking points after was how good the band were. Thank you so much to the Beats.

    Matt, Wedding

  • Thanks to the band for being the perfect band for our 'marriage party' on September 18th. Two fantastic sets and you really got the old barn rocking with all ages filling the dancefloor! Everyone who was there was hugely impressed that we had such a quality band playing for us and loved every minute - especially everyone joining in on the extended encore! Hope you enjoyed playing for us as much as we enjoyed your music! Thanks again guys.
