Special offer! Free 1 x 60 minute afternoon jazz set!

The Delta Flyers are the ideal setting for your formal function, be it a Civic Reception, a Corporate Opening, or Fundraising Event.  At your black tie dinner they provide a large helping of classic vintage style whilst at the same time ensuring that all your guests enjoy themselves as we keep the dance floor jumping and swinging, emulating the great bands from the 30’s 40’s & 50’s.

The band provide that sophisticated vintage sound and atmosphere, keeping the dance floor jumping and swinging, as we emulate the great music from the 30’s 40’s & 50’s, a style of music still popularized today by artistes such as Caro Emerald, Michael Buble, Jamie Cullum & Robbie Williams. You don’t have to know how to dance, just how to have a good time! If there is a special tune you both share, tell their Band Leader what it is, and he will make a special musical arrangement for the band to play for you. A lovely and traditional way to start the dancing.

The band's passion is the popular music of classic Hollywood and the Jazz Era, from the energy of the roaring 20’s, the determination of the 30’s, the defiance of the 40’s and the glamour of the 50’s.

The Delta Flyers are a popular attraction at vintage festivals and commemorative events, recreating the swinging sounds of Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, Louis Jordan and Duke Ellington to name a few.

What people say Help

  • We all had a brilliant night at the Swingaroo christmas party - what a great party atmosphere - Awesome band, absolutely blew us all away at Swingaroo on Friday. Hopefully we're getting 'em back next year!

  • Your band’s performance was excellent and everyone had a wonderful time; I can’t tell you how many people came up to me to ask where we found you and how good they said you all were. As a “small” band you put out a “big band” sound and despite initial worries that your music would not appeal to everyone, you only had to witness the crowded dance floor which completely dispelled that worry.

  • We gave a great reception to The Delta Flyers. - as this ‘small big band‘ reminded us of Duke, Glenn, Woody and others, and their singer did the same for such as Ella, Peggy and Marilyn! Absolutely everything went with such a swing, - As our chairperson said in thanking the band, there is nothing like a live band and a singer whose every word can be understood. There is a well-founded rumour that they may return to the club, perhaps in a very important event.

Leslie, Private Function, Wilmslow, June 2016
  • Thanks again for playing at our wedding. The music was perfect for giving the drinks reception that 'vintage' feel and definitely added a touch of class! We have had so many lovely comments from guests (most of my family and friends are also musicians so they are very hard to impress!) We really appreciated your professionalism on the day and beforehand in fitting round our ever changing plans and song preferences for the day. We will definitely be recommending The Delta Flyers to our friends for future events.
