  • from £850 in East Midlands
  • from £900 in West Midlands

Inspiring, male-fronted London 3-piece band roll out a winning mix of favourites – from modern-day indie chart music by Kings of Leon and the Kaiser Chiefs to Stevie Wonder funk-outs and Beatles classics.

The Dicemen have shaken up even the shyest audiences at over 500 weddings, corporate functions and formal and informal private parties, and also offer an acoustic set for quieter events and smaller venues, featuring chilled-out heroes such as Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Damien Rice and Louis Armstrong.

The band is made up of experienced professionals who have played for celebrities such as Denise Lewis, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Anna Friel and David Thewlis, worked with Eddie Masters (Boney M) and Glenn Le Fleur (Gerry Rafferty), and entertained thousands at the Boogie In The Park and Music On The Moor festivals. The guitarist teaches when he isn’t playing in a well-known Beatles tribute band or performing his own songs on the London circuit; the bass player is a classically trained pianist who secretly bought an electric guitar at 12, becoming an experienced wedding band performer by 16; and the drummer spent years gigging in Australia before moving to London, where he now specialises in song-writing, guitar and harmonica as well as drumming.

What people say

  • Thank you for the absolutely wonderful job your band did at our engagement party!! The music sounded AMAZING! You kept everyone of all ages on the dance floor with a great mix of oldies and current songs!

    Mike, Private party, Essex, 2009
  • I was very pleased and impressed with your professionalism and performance at our wedding reception. Jason and I had a great time and appreciated your ability to really get the crowd out on the dance floor enjoying the evening! We had tons of positive comments from our guests, and would certainly recommend The Dicemen to anyone looking for a great wedding band!

    Katherine, Wedding, London, 2009.
  • We want to thank you for being a part of our wedding day. My husband wasn’t with me when I went to see you play at the Stage Door, where I decided you’d be great for our wedding, and he admitted later he was worried about how the band would turn out. Well, he has yet to stop talking about how great you guys were!

    Nick, Wedding, Oxford 2009
  • Hi guys; I just wanted to reiterate what my wife and I told you on the night of the wedding. You and your music were one of the main reasons our reception was such a huge success…..heard nothing but praise about you guys from our family, friends, and the staff at the hotel. Being a former musician myself, I am more critical than most. After seeing your website and listening to you in person at the Stage Door, I knew your group’s musicality was not an issue. As we both know, that is not the only thing that makes the music a hit. Your professional manner and sound were a pleasure to listen and dance to from start to finish. It was great to see people who never dance up on the dance floor for a good part of the evening. Thanks for everything. We had an absolute blast!

    Matt, Wedding, Milton Keynes, 2009
  • Both James and I thought your band was great! You knew what music to play when and did not need any input from us or anyone else. You played a few of our favorite songs without even knowing it. You had quite a range of choices! After hearing your band my nephew commented to James that he had wished he had a band when he got married 2 years ago instead of the DJ that he had paid a lot more for. Before the wedding my sister had commented that she was afraid that you would not play enough dance songs…..well you sure showed her!! I would highly recommend your band to anyone for any special occasion. We will keep in touch….who knows we might be renewing our vows in a year just to have a party and have you play!

    Michelle, Wedding, London, 2009
  • You guys were awesome!

Dave, Pub Owner, London, July 2009
  • I just wanted to let you know that my brother, who has NEVER danced in his life, DANCED the night of my 30th birthday party and I am thrilled that something finally made him move!! Thanks for a wonderful evening, great performance, and if I ever hear of someone looking for a good live band, I will recommend yours!!

    Melanie, Private party, Surrey, 2009
  • Thank you so much for all the great music at our wedding. You guys sounded really great and so many of my guests were asking how I found your band.

    Mark, Wedding, Cambridge 2009
  • I would like to thank you boys for helping to make our office Christmas party a great success! The band played a wide variety of music, which pleased the varied age groups in attendance. We have received numerous compliments on the music from both company employees and clients. I was impressed with the professionalism of the performers, and would not hesitate to book the band again.
