The quartet was formed in 2000 by graduates of the Royal Northern College of Music. As a wedding string quartet they've played at some of the most prestigious venues across the North, the West Midlands and Wales, they have played for the Lord Mayor of Manchester, entertained dignitaries at the Paralympic games and UEFA, and recently gave a series of concerts in Zambia. What people say Help

  • We absolutely loved both the Manchester String Quartet and Cloud Nine. The string quartet really added a touch of class to the day and were incredibly professional, not to mention that the music was amazing.

  • On our wedding day, 29th June, you played beautifully! Your service was discrete and impeccable. All our guests came back to me later that day and said how good you all were. Thank you all ever so much.

  • Thank you so much for providing us with some excellent music for our wedding at Hollin Hall on April 7th. Everyone was impressed with your repertoire. As a violinist myself, it was what I always wanted for my wedding! Thanks again.

    Jenny , Wedding, Cheshire
  • You played two great sets at Bramall Hall and the Art Gallery for our wedding on 23rd September. The A team and Lord of the Rings were our favourite and of course Gladiator! You were very very good. Thank you for making our day very memorable.

    Amelia, Wedding, Cheshire
  • Your wide repertoire made it easy for us all to choose appropriate music both before and after the ceremony. Later in the day we were able to enjoy so many of our favourite pieces (and special requests) out of doors on a lovely summer's evening. Many guests commented on your enthusiasm, pleasant manner and obvious talent, which all added to the happy atmosphere. It has been a pleasure making the arrangements with you and we hope to have the opportunity of hearing you playing together again in the not too distant future. Thank you Manchester String Quartet, the music for our Son's wedding was just perfect.

  • On behalf of the Management of InterContinental Hotel Lusaka ZAMBIA, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for the musical performances you provided over the 2003 Christmas season. The Deputy British High Commissioner was also delighted to host a musical evening at her residence for invited guests, which was also a huge success thanks to your outstanding performance.
