Swing & jive band serving up a furious stage show the likes of which are rarely seen in these dark, dark days of processed pop and cookie-cutter musical pretenders!

Featuring a charismatic Chicago-born blues shouter on lead vocals and a featuring a blistering 3-piece horn section, the band believe in the relentless pursuit of a good time through the medium of rockin’ blues music. The band took their second swing through the heartland of America in 2007 and have been touring festivals and functions in Europe and the UK ever since.

If you hear bands play music from the 40s and 50s these days it often sounds like it should be in a museum! But not with these guys! The band plays with an energy and enthusiasm that is infectious.

So, chuck out those tired jive compilations and turn off the X factor. The Rhythm Syndicate stand as living proof that music CAN save your mortal soul and, as musical apostles bringing light to where there was once only dark, leave a healthy dose of life-affirmin’, genre-bustin’, earth-shakin’ rhythm and jive in their wake.

What people say Help

  • Reputedly the only UK to take the blues back to Chicago and blow them away – I can see why.

    Steph Webber, Monkey Magazine, UK
  • The 8-piece band have been established for over seven years now, and they set out to re-create swinging, jazzy, rhythm and blues /jumpin' jive music. And boy, have they succeeded !!

    Brian Hill, Madrat Magazine, UK
  • We had a fantastic party and the band were Amazing...they made the evening and had everyone ( from 5-85 years old ) up and dancing. I' d recommend them to anyone and feel they were great value for money! Thanks for your help in booking them.

Mrs P-S, Private Party, West Midlands
  • Universally good – Steve got everyone up dancing – great atmosphere. We normally have shows for children and this was our first show for adults and older children. It was such a success that we want to have more.

    Promoter, Festival, Warwickshire
  • By the end of the evening they had most of the crowd squeezed onto the dance floor enraptured by the performance. We couldn’t get them to stop… or the crowd to leave!

Real Ale and Jazz Festival, Reading, 2008
  • Top quality, fabulous! Really enjoyed the performance and voices! The atmosphere the band created was brilliant and the music they provided - rhythm and blues and jazz - was sizzlingly executed. Keep up the good work!

    Anon, Private Party
