The Shakers are a versatile female-fronted London based 4-piece band formed of dedicated full time musicians with impressive credentials. A highly regarded band on the South East wedding and party circuit.

The band play a mixture of Blues, Soul, Indie, Funk, Reggae and Rock'n'Roll from the 60's to the present day and have performed at hundreds of bars, weddings, private functions and parties in the UK over the past few years.

Members of the band have either fronted or played with some of the best up and coming originals bands in London. Individually they have worked with Pete Doherty, Status Quo and Jesse Wood and toured, recorded or co-written songs with Toby Baker (BB King, Eric Clapton), Nicole Russo (The Brand New Heavies), Butch Thomas (Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Jaco Pastorias) and Kevin Sutherland (Lemar).

The drummer and bass player in the band have recorded with Mel B (on her solo single two years ago), Julian Lennon and played support slots for The Charlatans at The Road to V festival.
