The Slick City Jazz Stompers play trad jazz in the traditional New Orleans style, perfect for foreground or background music to help create an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

The band's extensive repertoire features dixieland jazz classics by the likes of Bix Beiderbecke, King Oliver and Louis Armstrong alongside jazz standards from the great American Songbook. Their slick, personal and flexible approach makes it the ideal choice and finishing touch to your important event.

The band offer a range of line-ups which can be tailored to suit the nature of your event, from a duo through to the full 7-piece band:

Duo (banjo + trombone or clarinet or trumpet): the perfect wandering act. With the ability to stroll around and entertain guests, the 2 piece band is excellent entertainment at a reduced cost.

Trio (clarinet, banjo, sousaphone): the most popular option, this line-up is perfect for creating a celebratory ambience at the champagne wedding reception or to lighten the mood at any corporate function. It's guaranteed to get everyone's foot tapping and put a smile on the faces of all of your guests

4-piece (banjo, clarinet, sousaphone, cornet or drums): one of the most flexible line-ups and is available in two different combinations to suit your requirements. With the use of the trumpet or drums, the 4 piece band gives a little more prominence and flexibility compared with the smaller 3 piece group.

5-piece (banjo, clarinet, cornet, sousaphone, drums): Maintaining the authentic sound of the 7-piece, it uses two front line instruments, a great option for those on a smaller budget.

6-piece (banjo, clarinet, cornet,trombone, sousaphone, drums): Making an excellent dance band, the infectious sound of the 3 horns and rhythm section will make your party one to remember. The six and seven piece bands also include our excellent vocalist.

7-piece (full band): the ultimate line-up. The band's hot jazz, big sound and feel good factor will lift all spirits making your event extremely memorable.
