The Trunkies are a young and highly impressive covers band who seemingly, as if by some divine act, were put on this earth to make people dance their socks off! Based in the North West, they are a gang of charismatic, show-stopping performers who have great fun playing pop, indie, rock, funk and soul covers at parties, weddings and corporate events. As well as their main set, they can offer a solo acoustic guitar player and solo pianist, making them an ideal choice for both wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions.

Band members have toured throughout the UK and Europe, taking in the Stockholm Festival among other events, and now composes for television and runs a recording studio that records artists for Welsh radio. Their corporate clients include Liverpool FC, Barclays Bank, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, RYA, Karen Millen and Wirral Borough Council, and they have played at prestigious venues such as Anfield, King Williams College and the Royal Thames Yacht Club.

The band can offer a solo acoustic guitar or piano set or a full 'swing' set for the afternoon reception.

    We hired them for our wedding reception and they were fantastic - the range of music they played was brilliant and their interaction with the audience was fab. They were so professional - all our guests commented on what a great job they'd done and how much they had enjoyed listening to them. They let us use their PA to play our music through and set everything up - which was really helpful.

    We had spent months looking for a band to hire before we came across Function Central.
