Top flight 4-piece wedding/party band from Gloucestershire playing danceable anthems from the The Kings of Leon, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and many more. Acoustic duo option available.

Special offer! £150 off all quotes for Sunday & weekday events (excl. Friday) and all events in January, February & March 2012.

The Wild Nights specialise in danceable rock & pop and play a stomping set that includes floor fillers by artists such as The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Their compelling live sound has got corporate functions, weddings and parties moving since 2006, creating an exciting atmosphere that will get even the shyest guests to let their hair down!

The band are all talented songwriters as well as performers: you’ve probably heard guitarist and singer Ben before without realising it, as he composes and performs music for adverts when he isn’t playing in the band; guitarist Johnny performed one of John Peel’s favourite songs, and has recently collaborated with Elvis Costello and Christy Moore. Bass player Chris has been performing with artists such as Noel McCoy, Vannessa Simon and Sam Lewis of KT Tunstall since his teens, and drummer Alan owns a professional rehearsal and recording studio that has produced work by singer-songwriter Tom Baxter and programmer Alexis Smith (Moulin Rouge and David Gray).

The band also offer their own pro DJ service for a reduced fee, featuring Mackie bass bins and laser lighting. This saves on the cost, hassle and venue space required when hiring a separate DJ. Ben and Jon are also available as an acoustic covers duo.

What people say Help

  • A week has now passed and we are beginning to feel that normal service is being resumed. Last week, you visited ‘sleepy Barford’ to help us celebrate Tom and Anna’s wedding day. For us, this was our third wedding celebration, two daughters and finally our son Tom. For each wedding we followed the same format – walk to church and back to a marquee in the pub garden. We do only live over the road from the pub!

The big difference was that this was the first time we had booked a band and what a band you turned out to be. We had suggested months earlier that this be a good idea and Tom & Anna duly searched the internet to find someone suitable. He eventually played us your demo CD and we all had high hopes. Well, our high hopes were surpassed. From the very first cheerful meeting on arrival we felt reassured that thinks would go well and they certainly did.

We all loved the choice for the first dance and gave the evening a great start. As the dancing went on it got better and better – well apart from John’s ‘I’m a believer!’ Your sound, excellent choice of music and cheerful presentation went a long way towards making a very memorable day for us all. Thank you very much and we wish you much success in the future.

  • Wild Nights were booked for our children’s joint 21st and 18th but with a splattering of “adults” also in attendance. The band really made the party with loads of people saying what a great atmosphere they had created. They were very flexible to the nature of the party [informal and fun!] but also had a good play list that had everyone dancing. I would highly recommend them. I was also grateful for the efficient service and back up provided by Function Central.

  • Excellent band. Great musicians. Lead singer has got a really soulful voice. Really nice guys and they don't look cheesy!

  • I just wanted to say a massive thank you for performing at our wedding. Your band are absolutely fabulous and everyone has commented to us how good you were. We were made up with your performance and you made our evening memorable. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who is wanting a band for parties and weddings etc in the future. Many thanks once again

  • The Wild Nights were absolutely brilliant. The music was perfect and people were up and dancing all night. They were very friendly, approachable and above all accommodating of our requests. We had an absolutely fabulous time with them and were so pleased that they were part of our wedding. I would recommend them to anyone and would certainly use them again for other parties. Well done guys, you were excellent.

  • Freddie and I were really pleased we booked The Wild Nights they were absolutley fantastic - all our guest had a good dance on the dance floor (ranging from the youngies right through to the oldies). The playlist was a great mix something for everybody! They sounded fantastic and played very well! We would book them again for a party and I have recomended them to friends having weddings. They really did us proud and we got them to play an extra set as nobody wanted them to go!

  • The Wild Nights were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, helpful and polite and even helped me to massacre a perfectly good song that I very drunkenly played for my new bride, but they were really encouraging and supportive. Our wedding guests kept asking where we found the band and were surprised that we merely picked them from a website and hadn't seen them play. Even my 67 year old step-dad couldn't believe his luck when they played some early rock n roll from his childhood, right up to modern day. What a brilliant end to a perfect day. Thank you.

  • We were very pleased with The Wild Nights, and would definitely recommend them. Thanks again for your help.

    Alan, Party, London, September 2008
  • Amazing, Amazing, Amazing. They were absolutely fantastic and so talented. They could not have done a better job of entertaining everyone at our party; 190 people descended on the dance floor for their first song and did not leave until their last. Their music was great and they were such lovely guys to work with. We will most definately be recommending them in the future.

I hope you will relay this to the guys. Thanks for all your help,

    Hannah, Party, London, September 2008
  • Hope you are well, just wanted to drop a line of thanks both Acoustic Jass and The Wild Nights performed at last week.

Acoustic Jass were a great fit to the ‘garden party’ feel of the drinks reception. Their performance was really good, met the expectations of guests and the client was very pleased.

The ‘Chill Out’ area was where The Wild Nights performed post dinner.
The client was very pleased with their performance.

Many thanks again to all for their great efforts!
