Profile
Alexandria can provide a string quartet, trio or duo playing beautiful music to suit any occasion. Everything from parties, banquets, civil and church wedding ceremonies to corporate launches and student events can be catered for.
The string quartet adds elegance to complement any function! The Alexandria String Trio or Duo is an excellent alternative to a string quartet where either space is restricted or budgets are limited.
Standard performance is approx 3 hours, which usally covers the ceremony and reception drinks, or reception and wedding breakfast. However the quartet can be hired for longer periods if you would like live music throughout the whole day. Alternatively they can be hired for shorter lengths of time if all you would like is music for a specific part of the proceedings.

Testimonials
‘Lots of people were gobsmacked by how very good you were... we’re so pleased that you were available to play at the wedding, you did an excellent job and we were thrilled!’
Mr and Mrs Louis and Estelle Florentin-Lee, wedding at Chiswick House, August 2005.
‘The duo of violin and viola fit beautifully into our small (but perfect!) wedding ceremony. The players were friendly and put us at ease, and it felt very grand walking in to their rendition of “The Queen of Sheba”!’
Mrs Sam Worwood, wedding in Farnham, October 2004.
It was a huge success throughout, not least due to the professionalism and talent displayed by the Alexandria String Quartet during the reception. If the evening had lent itself to it, we would gladly have asked you to play all night!’
Joelle Watkins, British Mediterranean Airways Events Manager.
