Damian has entertained audiences Worldwide for over fifteen years, playing solo Piano and Keyboard with a wide repertoire of music, from cocktail jazz to current pop ballads.
He began his musical career at the age of 14, playing keyboards with Nottingham function band ‘Prelude’, performing at many prestigious venues throughout the UK and Europe, including The Dorchester Hotel, London, Grosvenor House Hotel, London, The Queen Elizabeth II Cruise Liner and at the 1995 Christmas Ball of Chancellor Helmut Kohl in Bonn, Germany.
His ‘Easy Listening’ style provides an ideal accompaniment to any event requiring tasteful, non-intrusive music, as a refreshing change from ‘piped’ recordings, which are often considered inappropriate and impersonal.
Damian provides his own high quality equipment including the Korg Triton Extreme 88 and Yamaha Tyros 2 keyboards with appropriate amplification. He requires a minimal amount of time and space to set up and remove equipment, so as not to impose on a venue, staff or patrons.
With his experience and natural musical flair, you can be assured of the highest quality background music to compliment any function or special event. With his personable manner and ability to play 'by ear', Damian is often able to accommodate musical requests, providing a more personal touch to any occasion.
As well as his solo engagements, Damian is now working with talented young male vocalist Chris Crosby. Together they perform a selection of popular, soulful music from the ‘Rat Pack’ to present day Pop classics. The emphasis is on style, soul and more importantly, providing high quality entertainment for appreciative ears.
