Profile

Century play feel-good, sing-along, dance-along rock and pop hits from the 60s through to the 00s. In their ranks they have members of the Counterfeit Stones, graduates of Guitar and Bass Institute, sought-after instrumental teachers, and a singer who has just contributed backing vocals to the latest Jamie Cullum album. Expect perfectly balanced vocal harmonies, great stage presence and truly astonishing musicianship from this lively and fun quartet.

Century are able to provide a fully self-contained act where necessary, including sound, light and music between, before and after sets. For weddings and functions the band can adjust the set in a lighter direction and even include a dance medley!

Testimonials

The panic was on to find a band for our Christmas party, 95 guests which encluded a wide spectrum of ages and as it was all terribly last minute the stress was on. Thankfully my prayers were answered with 'Century'. With 4 days notice you came to our rescue. The organising was made effortless. You turned up, set up and blew them away with your enthusiasm and talent. Our crowd are not the easiest to please but you made such a fabulous impression that after many enquiries from guests I have forwarded your details to all those with events coming up and I'm sure that your 2008 calendar will be really chocka! Thank you all for a fabulous night that is highly memorable and hope that we will be able to secure another booking before you get too famous!! Best of luck guys and thanks again!!"

Thanks guys for recommending Century to us - they absolutely rock! From start to finish they were complete gents, a delight to deal with and much better looking than their photo suggests! And as for the music; they were totally awesome. They had to please a range of ages from ultra-cool teenagers to doddery old farts and did so incredibly well. I had so many people asking me how I found the band and telling me they were amazing, I lost count. Their repertoire is really wide ranging and they sound so good that it didn't take long until there was no room on the dance floor, which I think says it all, as do my worn out feet! There's not many a night you will see people doing the twist one minute, rocking and rolling the next, followed by a good pogoing/headbanging session!! Thank you again heaps - we'd have them back every week!

Thanks for the band guys. They were brilliant, big time. I love the Killers, and the lads renditions were ace. The camp were impressed and I got a pat on the back. Your details are up on our entertainment board, and a lot of people are asking who I went through. Hopefully we'll do business again. Really appreciate it.

"
I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the band for being so great and to you for all help in sorting out a band for our wedding. Even the oldies at the wedding were raving about how good the band was, we thought they were brilliant, their cover of Reef was the dogs b******* (excellent)!!"
