The Double Measures came about as a result of a genuine desire to provide something unique; a cover band of the highest quality, actively committed to capturing & recreating the authentic sound & feel of classic & modern funk, soul, and rock 'n' roll from the world's leading artists.

They have achieved this not only without the use of sequencers, backing tracks or sheet music, but also with a line-up of just 5 members, making them notably more affordable to clients over comparable bands covering similar material.

The line-up features five guys all aged under 35, but with a combined total of over 80 years musical experience! The band's repertoire of well-known songs is guaranteed to get any crowd singing & dancing, and because of the eclectic mix of catchy, funky, soulful & rockin' tunes from across the past five decades, there's bound to be something for everyone!
