We’ll save you money
We keep our rates as low as possible – but if another agent offers you one of our acts at a lower price, or on better terms, just send us their quote and we’ll match their offer.
How we calculate our prices
The price we quote depends on factors such as how far the act has to travel (for example, from London to Cornwall will be more expensive than London to Kent), whether the act will have to pay parking or congestion charges, the day of the week and the time of year. Quieter months (January-March, October and November) will typically be cheaper than peak season (May-September), and quotes will vary within regions; particularly the South West and Wales as there can be up to 4 hours difference in journey time. The prices listed on an act’s profile page on the website ("from ...") are the lowest prices you can expect to pay for a performance in the region shown.
Our quote for an evening performance will be based on the act arriving and setting up at any time after 6pm, and finishing by midnight. Our quote for an afternoon performance will be based on the act arriving and setting up 30-90 minutes before their performance start time, and packing down and leaving immediately after their final set
What we include in the price
The price we quote for an act will include travel, VAT, accommodation (if necessary) and all equipment needed for the act’s performance, unless we say otherwise.
All acts can provide recorded music during their intervals for no extra charge. Most acts will be happy for you to select a few songs from their repertoire list, and some acts will also learn a request that doesn’t already feature on their repertoire list.
The price also includes our "live music guarantee": in the highly unlikely event that an act member or entire act can’t attend your event due to illness etc., we’ll source a suitable replacement act member or act in a similar style, within the same price range.
The only thing which we don’t include in the price is food and drink, which must be provided for acts booked for an evening performance. See act requirements on our help & advice page for more information on providing food for an act.
