Ed Martin is an exciting young pianist accomplished across the whole musical spectrum – from jazz, through pop, rock, and soul, to classical – available for hire for weddings, parties, corporate events, and recording sessions. He can enhance the ambiance of any occasion with his rich and melodic playing.

Fabulous set, thank you for a memorable evening, a joy! Judy, Restaurant booking, Bristol

Ed attained a distinction in his ATCL classical piano diploma in 2013, and graduated with a First in Music from the University of Oxford in 2015. In the last five years he has acquired a wealth of experience playing solo piano for private events, as well as in jazz piano trios and wedding party bands across the south of England. He has also recorded sessions with numerous up-and-coming singer songwriters.

Ed can tailor his setlist according to the style and mood of the occasion, and can learn a request song. He can provide his own equipment (a Nord stage piano keyboard and Roland amp) or use a piano at the venue. He can also offer various ensemble line-ups if you would like to add bass, drums, sax, and/or vocals.

“Fabulous set at Piccolino Bristol tonight, thank you for a memorable evening, a joy!!”

Judy, Restaurant booking, Bristol, November 2019

“Fantastic day celebrating the Bristol Bannatyne 25th Anniversary! The amazing Ed Martin entertaining us with a fabulous repertoire along with a few requests thrown in - thanks Ed!”

Harry, Private Function, Bristol, October 2019

“Ed discussed in detail what sort of music we would like, provided his own keyboard, liaised faultlessly with the hotel and was the embodiment of tact and professionalism. His music was beautiful, both in content and the way he played: many guests commented on the quality of his playing. We would recommend him without hesitation.”
