“We booked Heartland to play an hour in the afternoon before our wedding breakfast & again for an hour to start the evening reception - our only regret is that we didn’t book them for the whole night!! Every member of the band was just fantastic - such a suave and charismatic bunch with bags of soul and style in their performances!! Abdul’s voice is incredible, believe me when I say that the energy from the live performances is simply not captured in the demos on the website. The band tailored our set to include our fave tracks from their list, and did a fabulous job at every song. Our guests didn’t want the performance to end and neither did we!! Thank you so much to Heartland for being the best entertainment we could have booked! We had worried we should have perhaps booked a band with brass but this wasn’t even a thought as soon as they came on - the guitarists were incredible! My aunty also took it upon herself to jump on the mic during an instrumental and it was so fabulous how smoothly the band just went with it - and a great performance it was..! “Heartland played at our wedding reception. They were brilliant and were the perfect choice for our intimate venue. The band leader called me a few weeks before to discuss arrangements and sent me video clips of the singer who was amazing. We had a full dance-floor and lots of our guests complimented us on the choice of band. Another nice touch was that Heartland allowed us to play our own playlist on their PA system in between sets and at the end while they were packing up. I would recommend them wholeheartedly for any type of event as they can play a versatile selection of music, from easy-listening smooth grooves to up tempo dance-floor fillers. Brilliant act!”
