“A fabulous band, great fun and really slick. Very professional in every way.”

Sally, 21st Birthday Party, August 2018

“We would like to thank you and The Cool Cats for a fantastic evening. We had an extremely enjoyable night that was enhanced by your band's music. The feedback we have received is glowing. Thank you for helping make our day so special.”

David, Wedding in Surrey, July 2018

“Great band who really lived up to our expectations and kept our evening going with excellent live music. Feedback from our guests was wholly positive - a great balance of tunes, played well by great and personable musicians. Worked with The Richmond Jazz Trio to ensure with double sets each that we had live music all night.”

Paul, Stopgap's 25th Anniversary, Grays Inn in London, June 2018

“The Cool Cats were first class and really enjoyed by all. The highlight of all was to see them pick up on the musicality of my eleven year old niece! A fantastic, professional and sensitive band. Very highly recommended.”

Sally, 80th Birthday Party in Chichester, March 2018

“Just wanted to say a big thank you for your performance at my father in laws wake. The reaction we have had from everyone was great. We thought you judged the mood superbly and put on a great gig at what obviously was an unusual function. We think you all sounded fantastic and we are so glad that we booked you as a quintet and got the true sound of the band. Probably the most moving moment of the day was the rendition of the last post with all Bobs army pals standing to attention (not a dry eye in the place) and a fitting farewell. None of them had heard it on the sax before but to a man the approval was unanimous. Once again a big thankyou and our sincere wishes for you all for the future, we will be singing your praises to anyone who needs a band.”

Alan, Funeral in Leicestershire, January 2018

“My biggest applause went to The Cool Cats, no wonder the Bard wrote: O, it came o'er my ear like the sweet sound, that breathes upon a bank of violets.”

Ed, Corporate Award Ceremony in London, December 2017

“A brilliant band that provided a broad range of music. An excellent, strong performance from the vocalist together with some fine instrumentals. Leader, on saxophone gave a strong performance with many solo improvisations showing off his skill and versatility.”

Brian, Wedding in London, November 2017

“We just wanted to write to express our sincere thanks. We had so much fun and all the songs you played were spot on. Everyone commented how much fun they had and great the band was. Thank you so much!”

“Professional, polite band members. Very flexible in their music choices and responsive to the mood of the party on the night. Played off the crowd really well. Overall we were really pleased with them. We would definitely book them again.”

Michael, Private Party in Birmingham, November 2016

“They were fabulous and highly professional. They played great music and listened to parental anxieties getting the mood just right. Fabulous, thank you guys!!”

Sally, 21st Birthday in Beckenham, May 2016

“After looking through the many acts that Function Central had to offer, we chose The Cool Cats based on their repertoire they showcased on their web page. We wanted a band that could provide cool jazz funk background music, but get the party started as the night went on and they certainly did. They were excellent. Their music live was fabulous and completely made the evening perfect. They were professional and friendly. We could not fault them. Our guests have all since said how wonderful the band were on the evening. Thank you Cool Cats for making our Wedding Evening Reception perfect.”

Faye, Wedding in Worcestershire, July 2015

“We hired The Cool Cats and were very satisfied. They were very professional and friendly!!!”

Toby, Wedding at Hyde Park, May 2015

“We opted for the five-piece band, including a female lead singer, for our daughter's wedding reception in a marquee in our garden. We were extremely impressed by the band. They were talented musicians and singers, they conducted themselves in a very professional fashion and their performance was the perfect ending for a wonderful and memorable day. Their communication before the event was good and somehow they managed to set up all their equipment without me noticing their arrival. I would, without any reservations, highly recommend the band. Thank you.”

Colin, Wedding in Hertfordshire, May 2015

“We were so delighted with The Cool Cats - they were brilliant at keeping the party going, getting everyone dancing and they were so calm and professional in getting set up without any disruption to our guests. They played several encores at the end as our guests were so happy they just wanted to keep dancing! I couldn't recommend them highly enough.”

Alex, Wedding in Henley-On-Thames, June 2014

“The band were great - they were all really friendly and played a fantastic set. The guests really enjoyed the set, while the band worked really well to co-ordinate things with the DJ who was playing immediately after them. The band were a really nice bunch and were happy to chat to guests on the evening - the band were recommended to us and we would definitely recommend them to others.”

Catrin, Wedding in Wales, June 2014

“Thank you and your colleagues in 'The Cool Cats' for the music you played for my 60th birthday party on Sunday. It was absolutely brilliant, and I only regret that chatting to so many old friends and with so many things to do that I didn't get to listen properly, as I would have liked. However, the consensus was that your 3 sets were just right and most enjoyable with excellent song performances. Thank you for the never-ending version of 'my baby just cares' and the fact that you were so unobtrusive setting up. So thank you once again for the delightful contribution you all made, and best wishes for plenty of business and success! So thank you once again for the delightful contribution you all made, and best wishes for plenty of business and success!”

Graham & Ann, 60th Birthday Party, July 2013

“We were very happy and impressed with the Cool Cats' performance at our wedding. They were friendly, professional, extremely talented and got all the guests involved with the dancing. They were flexible to our needs and ensured the evening was made personal to us. I would definitely recommend them to others.”

Helen, Wedding in Dorset, August 2013

“I have nothing than the highest praise for The Cool Cats. Their demeanour before and during the wedding reception was highly professional. The band leader and I had a long chat before the event in which I placed my request for the band's time of arrival and set-up. When all our guests came into the reception room the band was fully set-up and ready to go. Their sense for volume of the performance was spot on. Their gig during the meal which lasted for several of hours was just at the right volume to be loud enough to be enjoyed and shaked to in your seat if you wanted or quiet enough if you'd like to not having to shout across the table during conversation. Everyone loved the look of the band and the quality of performance. I am very pleased to have made this booking and would recommend the band to everyone who's looking for the right sort of swing/jazz/latin entertainment for a function or a wedding. Their contribution to a wonderful wedding was immense! Thanks a lot to all the members of the band.”

Tankred, Wedding, May 2012

“The band were fantastic - everything we wanted! They were very professional and played exactly what we asked them to from their playlist. There was no 'chatting' between songs - each song ran into the next which was ideal to keep people on the dance floor. We also appreciate that they learnt 'nobody does it better' for our first dance. It was played and sung beautifully. Thank you The Cool Cats!!!”

Rebecca & Chris, Wedding, April 2012

“This band were absolutely amazing, we hired them for our wedding and we loved them from the beginning as we had heard their demos on the website and thought they would suit our wedding perfectly. They were just fantastic, all their songs were sung with such enthusiasm and the lead singer was fantastic. The musicians really helped set the tone for our wedding party. They had everyone dancing the whole night and still now everyone continues to tell us how fantastic they all were. So many of our guests said it was the best music they had danced to at a wedding. My husband and I felt they showed a lot of respect when playing our song for the first dance, we asked them to sing Sade Your love is King, and the lead singer was better than Sade! We were absolutely delighted with the band and would definitely book them again for another function. In fact one of our guests asked for their contact details for her husband's birthday, but we told her to go though the website. Also we didn't want her to copy us! Really fantastic band! They deserve a lot of recognition for their talent.”
