Keat & Jen

Our wedding took place at One Great George Street and we fell in love with its central London location, beautiful great hall and amazing food!

My favourite moments of the day were watching my wife-to-be walk down the aisle to me, and performing with the band!

We wanted a classy, relaxed but most importantly "fun" atmosphere.

We chose London wedding band The In-Laws for the evening entertainment alongside Liam, their DJ. We sifted through numerous bands but the In-Laws looked like the best fit as we were looking for an all male, young and trendy looking group. We listened to their demos online and they sounded great. We loved their repertoire and we booked them immediately.

I would recommend them to anyone. Not only did they agree to learn 'Ho Hey' by the Lumineers beforehand but they agreed to let me perform it with them as lead vocals at the wedding despite not knowing how awful I was at singing!

The In-Laws were very accommodating and did everything they could to make my day be as special as possible. Nathanael from the band called me a week or so before the event and he answered all my questions and made me feel even more confident that I had booked the right band.

All my guests had a great time and the majority of them approached me during the evening to tell me how much they loved the band and how great they were. One even said it was like being at a gig as opposed to listening to a wedding band.

I found Function Central online and The In-Laws are one of their most popular wedding bands. The website was easy to use and extremely clear about the pricing and what to expect.

In addition, Ali, who I was liaising with made the process a joyful and easy experience which made it all the more encouraging. He was responsive and did everything he could to answer my questions and do what he could to meet my somewhat demanding needs!

My favourite moments of the day were watching my wife-to-be walk down the aisle, and performing with the band!

My advice to any brides/grooms-to-be is make many lists, don't deliver a speech that's too long, book everything well in advance and try to make the day a little unique. Everyone's been to a million weddings and its hard to stand out but with a little imagination, you can make it your own. Oh, and book the In-Laws!
