What people say

  • We hired Dangermouse for our wedding in September 2009. Whilst I’d listened to some of the tracks, and had a vague idea of what the band sounded like, I hadn’t heard them live and was a bit nervous as to how they would sound. But I was totally blown away, the guys were absolutely brilliant. Whilst setting up, they let my niece play with the drums, keeping her entertained, and we were able to select which songs we did/ didn’t want from the playlist in advance of the big day. They even took a request for me and played ‘Sex on Fire’ which was the song everyone remembers because the crowd went crazy when it came on! I know it’s cliché to say that everyone commented on how good the band were, yadda yadda, but they really were fantastic – they were on top form vocally and had the ability to keep everyone dancing all night. Thank you Dangermouse!

  • Just a quick e-mail to say how happy we were with Dangermous, having booked them to play our wedding on 22/5/10. Having arrived early and set up with zero fuss and noise the guys happily mingled with our guests before they started playing. When they did start playing the quality of the music was excellent (as well as being suitably loud) and loads of our guests commented on how good the band were. Having never booked a band online before I was unsure of how the live music would stand up to the samples i'd heard online but the quality was as good, if not better. The repetoire was also more expansive than I'd read online which meant we got even more modern classics than I'd hoped for and every one had our guests dancing. The band were also more than happy to accomodate some late requests and finished the night brilliantly with an acoustic encore of Wonderwall.
I would definitely recommend the band to a friend and I know many of our female gueats would be more than happy to see the guys again. Overall the booking more than lived up to expectations so thanks for all your help around this.

  • We hired Dangermouse for our Wedding and they were absolutely awesome. The sound was spot-on, they are all excellent musicians and their set-list had everybody up and dancing all night. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. You probably don't want to quote this but make sure you tell the guys - it's a true story from our wedding - The hotel manager was telling us the next day that The Who were staying at our hotel the night of our wedding and apparently they made some positive comments about the music. The hotel also had a load of complaints from other guests because "the windows were vibrating with the bassline"... Result..!! The Manager just told them "he was sorting it out" and left us to get on with it. The guys really kicked ass - they were fantastic.

  • Just a quick note to say a really big and sincere thanks for helping to make our day the most memorable and perfect day we could have ever dreamed of. The whole arrangement with you was superb, I know it was a little unique with you playing for the whole day and evening but everyone commented about how good the whole thing was. It really worked out better than we would have thought and we just wanted to say a big thank you to you all. We would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone else, and if you want to use me as a reference, please do not hesitate. Thanks lads, take care and have a good Christmas and successful career.

  • Hi guys, we just wanted to say a massive thank you for helping to make our day so perfect. You were absolutely brilliant and everyone commented on how good you were. From the acoustic set, to the first dance, to the sing-alongs at the end, it was spot on and we wouldn't have had it any different. In fact we both agreed that you were the best money we spent on the whole wedding!!!! We mentioned it on the day, but we'd love to come and watch you guys again some time when you're playing in the Bristol/Somerset area. Thanks again for everything.

  • We searched for a long while to find a band that would be suitable for the event and we were not disappointed - they were perfect! They are a great bunch of guys with a relaxed but professional attitude. Their set list was everything you want from a wedding band - a solid performance of a wide range of covers - but with their own fresh twist on the sound of a few of the songs; for instance, adding a different dimension to tracks like 'Sweet Dreams' with that thumping bass. The lead singer's voice was phenomenal - people were really impressed with his ability to sound like the original artists and the fact that he did this for 3 hours! Everyone there really enjoyed themselves, and we certainly would not hesitate to recommend the band to others. Please thank them for providing some fantastic entertainment for us and wish them well in their future endeavors.

  • We would just like to say what a great choice i made by selecting these lads!!! Their performance for our wedding was both breathtaking and spectacular. It really was everything we ever hoped it would be and much much more. All of the lads were brilliant througout our day and made it a truely memorable day. I would not hesitate to book the band again, it was the only concern that I had for the day but I shouldn't have been concerned. Absolute quality.

  • Dangermouse were absolutely incredible, all our wedding guests loved them and the span of music meant that young and old were on the dancfloor all night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys again. We searched high and low for a great band and these guys were absolutely great.

    Mike, Wedding, Devon, September 2008
  • Hi Mike, sorry for not replying sooner. Lots of our guests told us how much they enjoyed Dangermouse. They were very friendly and were really flexible - especially as they had to hang around for ages before they could get started! The lead singer has a great voice and their songs sounded so much like the originals!

K Jones, Wedding, Sussex, August 2008
  • Phenomenal voice! I couldn’t get my head around how the singer could imitate every band they covered perfectly. They were so much fun and really made everyone laugh between songs. Not only that, but the keyboard player went round the party afterwards showing us the most incredible magic tricks!

H Wilson, Event, London, February 2008
  • The tightest act I have ever seen. I would recommend them without a shadow of a doubt. It took about twenty seconds of their first song ‘I feel good – James Brown’ before the entire party was up and dancing.
