DJ Bob

Highly professional Leeds Party and Wedding DJ with a 25,000 song library of every genre ever conceived, from the 1940s through to contemporary chart music!

Bob has been the first call wedding & party DJ in his native Leeds for the majority of his 10-year career in the music business. Although not specialising as such in any particular genre, Bob is able to cater for all types of musical tastes, and actively encourages audience requests. His music library is updated weekly and his current song count in excess of 25,000 tracks, including everything from golden oldies to modern chart hits.

In addition to residencies at some of the North West's top venues including TJ's, the Metropole Hotel Leeds and the Midland Hotel Bingley, Bob has provided the music for many varied function types including birthday parties, charity evenings, corporate functions, private gatherings at rugby and social clubs (for the Dewsbury Rams Rugby Club and Yarnbury Rugby Club) marquee weddings, military events (Dishforth Airfield Officers Mess, Army Apprentice College Harrogate), theme nights (James Bond, 70’s, 80’s, Rock n Roll, etc etc), numerous stadium gigs (Headingley and Elland Road) and supporting many of Function Central's live bands.

Bob is able to play appropriate background music as your guests arrive, as well as music for dancing and is happy to work with Function Central's bands to create a seamless night’s entertainment. He can also liaise with your party planner and venue to make everything run smoothly on the day. We recommend making a list of around 50 songs that you’d like Bob to play, and submitting these to us in advance. You can also make as many additional requests as you like on the night.

Bob is also able to provide karaoke if required, with a choice of circa 15,000 songs to choose from.

All work sound to light, so will provide a stunning light show activated wirelessly by any music source. Ideal when appearing alongside Live bands with no, or little of their own lighting.
