What people say Help

  • I just wanted to tell you that I had a fantastic birthday party. The Flavours were amazing and the singer has a fantastic voice. Everyone at the party commented on how fantastic they were and how much they enjoyed their singing choice. I will most certainly recommend your company and The Flavours to others. Once again many thanks.

  • The Flavours were a great choice of band for our wedding. They were really friendly and the singer had a great voice. They certainly got the dance floor going with their mix of soul, motown, funk and disco but the highlight had to be the impromptu Fresh Prince rap whilst there was a lighting change! I would definitely recommend them for any event. Function Central were also really easy to deal with, loads of information was available through the website and any other questions were answered over the phone. I was a bit nervous about booking a band from the internet for my wedding but need not have worried as we had loads of compliments from our guests about how great our band was.

  • The Flavours made the evening extra special. We had loads of feedback from our friends and family who all thought they were fabulous... reflected in the fact the dance-floor was full most of the evening! All the band members were friendly and obliging. Your Agency were also very helpful and easy to deal with. We would definatly use Function Central again and we would recommend to friends and family.

  • The Flavours were excellent – far, far better than we could have imagined. They really made our wedding day extra special and we were touched that they were willing to learn and play a song for our first dance that wasn’t on their usual song list. Our guests thought they were fantastic; they helped get everyone on the dance floor and kept the atmosphere going.

  • Brilliant band, with excellent musicians. The Flavours played at our wedding reception and went down a storm. They had everyone up and dancing from kids to grandparents. They played a varied selection of timeless song, from modern hits to 60’s and 70’s classics. We were really surprised to see how many people they managed to get onto the dance floor. The Flavours brought great energy to the party and had everyone calling for more. The only disappointment was when they had to leave.

  • We had The Flavours play at our wedding reception recently and they were fabulous. The venue was not huge and the dance area was small and it would have been very easy for the sound to have completely swamped the area, but The Flavours are very professional and hit just the right volume. The music was terrific. Kat's voice has a great range, depth and tone, and she fronts the band and meets with the audience brilliantly. They played a wide range of songs from back in the 60's up to the present day and were a total knock out. The dance floor was packed and there were lots of people just crowding round to watch the band. Many guests came up to me at the time, and since, to say how good The Flavours were.

  • The Flavours played at my husband's 40th Birthday Party on the 8th May 2010 and what a fantastic set of people they were. We have never booked a band before and with 130 guests of a mixed age group in our garden we were nervous! We didn't need to be, they were fantastic. With Kate's beautiful voice and her talented musicians behind her I don't think we could have picked anyone better. Everyone thought they were great and we would have no reservations in recommending them. They pitched the song choice and beat just perfect!! Thank you to so much for making our party! Your website was easy to use and navigate around, that made it easy for me, as I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to the internet. Booking was easy and straight forward and you provided us with a fantastically talented band, thank you.

  • The Flavours played for us very recently at a garden party. The choice of songs for the set list worked perfectly; a few mellow numbers to begin, slowly building so that by the middle of the first set, the “early dancers” were up on the floor. For the whole of the second set, the dance floor was packed and Kate had all 100 guests in the palm of the hand singing along with the choruses. Just Brilliant. The day after the party we were visited by neighbours who we had never seen before. They had been sitting in their garden listening to the music and they came to find out about this fabulous band so that they can book them for their own party. I rest my case!

  • I manage a bar in Sheffield city centre where The Flavours play twice a month. They are a local professional covers band who entertains the crowd to the highest standard. The Flavours draw in crowds of all generations and always guarantee a full bar. They are a pleasure to work with which is why they are top of my list of bands to book.
