“Thank you so much for playing at our wedding reception, you were fantastic. We had so many complements on the band, you really made it a wonderful evening for us. Please thank the rest of the band from us, we really can't thank you all enough.”

Katherine, Wedding, August 2019

“Sugar Beat Band were head and shoulders above everyone else we considered. They were a delight to deal with but their music and performance sealed the deal - infectious, sexy jazz and bebop rock and roll. They are sharp suited, talented musicians, fronted by a beautiful woman with the voice of Etta James. At times the dance floor was packed like a sweaty, Prohibition-era speakeasy and I lost count of the number of compliments we received on their set.”

Jo, Brides Magazine

“Thanks for getting the party jumpin' for all us Barbican staff, everyone loved it and I have had lots of emails asking me who the band were!”

Katy, Barbican Music Department

“Thank you for playing at our wedding. We loved dancing to your music, it was definitely a highlight of the day. So many of our friends and family have said how much they enjoyed dancing. You were definitely a hit!! Thank you for making the evening so memorable for everyone. You really were fantastic!”

“Thanks to Sugar Beat Band for playing our annual dinner dance this year - all our staff commented on how great you were and the night was our best yet!”
