The Djangos put their own slant on gypsy jazz with a mixture of old and new material. The band have played all over the UK and have also toured extensively in Italy and and played a number of gigs in Germany too.

The band play regularly in London and Cambridge, at venues including The Jamboree, Wiltons, The Green Note, Hootananny Brixton and the Ritzy Picturehouse, among others. They've also played at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant on Union Street and at a number of fashion events, not to mention numerous private parties, corporate events and weddings.

Everything The Djangos do is infused with their love of modern gypsy jazz. They can play everything from background jazz ballads to rousing pop tunes. Also, they can play modern pop songs using either an acoustic style, similar to the original tracks, or re-arranging them in their own unique fashion.

The Djangos were superb, virtuosic musicians. The crowd loved them and there was much dancing! Camilla, Wedding at North Denford Farm, Berkshire

The band are mobile, as they have a portable power supply that lasts for hours, so they can play in pretty much any location (weather permitting). They are happy for their microphone to be used to make announcements, or alternatively they can make announcements for you, at your request.

If you're looking for some vintage music with a modern twist, The Djangos would be an excellent choice!
