Gifted harpist who has played at many of the top wedding venues in the UK and worked with the CBSO, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the New Bristol Sinfonia.

Emily has been providing harp music for weddings and events since 1991 both as a solo harpist and as part of a flute & harp duo, and has played at many of the top wedding and events venues across the South West and Midlands.

Emily gained a BMus (Hons) from the University of Birmingham whilst continuing her harp studies with Robert Johnston (principal harpist City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra). She has since performed concertos with regional orchestras and given numerous recitals, and has played for the CBSO, the Royal Shakespeare Company and is principal harpist for the New Bristol Sinfonia.

Emily specialises in weddings and is available for the wedding ceremony (20 mins before the wedding, during signing of the register and as guests exit), the drinks reception or the wedding breakfast (see booking options below)

Flute/harp duo

Emily regularly plays as part of a flute/harp duo (clips available in the audio box to the right) with flautist Diane. As well as being Principal Flute of the Orchestra of the Swan, Birmingham Opera Company and Mid- Wales Opera ensemble, Diane is in much demand as a freelance orchestral player, performing with other leading orchestras including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Birmingham Contemporary Music Group. She has worked under eminent conductors including Sir Simon Rattle and Pierre Boulez. Diane has also appeared at major music clubs, festivals and on BBC television and radio.
