What people say Help

  • Hava Tequila's irresistible folky, gyspy tones cut straight to the heart of anyone with an appreciation for music that comes straight from the soul. These talented musicians graced our wedding and in doing so added a vibrant, heartfelt atmosphere to the whole occasion. A definite recommendation! Function Central did a great job of finding Hava Tequila especially for us when another klezmer band we were interested in was already booked out.

  • We have worked with Hava Tequila! since 2002, booking them for weddings, barmitzvahs, private parties, gallery openings, graduation ceremonies and festivals. We highly recommend them as a group of excellent musicians who always deliver the highest standard of musical entertainment. They have built up a superb reputation as one of the UK's finest bands for Jewish and non-Jewish events and are fully reliable and committed to each performance.

  • Not only did we think you were fantastic (we already knew that) but so did all our guests. Enthusiasm for your music was top of the talk on the day and has featured in all the feedback since. My mother, who was brought up with klezmer music, thought you were the business. She is 81 this year and hasn’t danced like that for ages.

  • Thank you for playing so brilliantly at our wedding. You really made the day. I will never forget that wild and frenzied first dance! Or being hoisted onto chairs and thrown around. You played really beautifully in the ceremony too. Everyone commented on the music and how much they enjoyed hearing you play. It also meant a great deal to Dave’s family who really appreciated you bringing a Jewish feel to an otherwise secular wedding day – and one that made everyone (regardless of religion) enjoy themselves, feel included and get carried away with the music.
