What people say Help

  • Millennium Bug played at our annual Staff Party on Friday night. They were fantastic. Great musicians and an amazing two sets of music. They listened to our request to up the tempo and delivered an incredible night to remember. The 5 piece band produced a wonderful sound. Thank you.

Stephen, Corporate Function, London, January 2017
  • We were absolutely delighted with Millennium Bug's performance at our wedding. Comms with the band beforehand were excellent and they were very flexible re timings etc. They got our whole wedding crowd on the dance floor early on and it remained full all evening. We were especially impressed with the quality of their performance and diversity of music (several of our guests were delighted when their requests were accommodated immediately!!). Overall we would highly recommend booking Millennium Bug to anyone looking for a very polished band with a fun edge - thanks for helping to make our day perfect!

    Clare, Wedding, Richmond, December 2016
  • Huge conratulations and thank you to ‘Millennium Bug’ for being so brilliant at our charity ball last Saturday. We have had so much positive feedback and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I am also delighted to tell you that we made £3,500 from the evening, which we are really pleased about. Many thanks again for all your support.

Rachel, Charity Event, Essex, December 2016
  • They were friendly and helpful both before and during the event, and played a great set of music for all ages which got everybody up on the dance floor. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a dance band for a mixed age audience!

Tessa, Birthday Party, Milton Keynes, August 2016
  • We were extremely pleased with the quailty, song selection and attitude of Millennium Bug. My wife and I had a brilliant time on the dance floor and most of our guests joined us there too. We would thoroughly recommend this band to anyone!

    Robin, Wedding, Bath, August 2016
  • Thank you so much to Millennium Bug who played at our wedding at Crabbs Barn in September. They were absolutely amazing and got every single person on the dance floor. Sex on Fire and Mr Brightside went down a storm. Everybody commented on how good they were. Thank you!

    Tammy, Wedding, Essex, October 2016
  • Millennium Bug played at our wedding on 30th July and far surpassed our expectations. The band got everyone up on the dance floor and we would highly recommend them for a wedding or other occasion. We want to thank them for really creating a great party atmosphere and for playing a fantastic range of music to such a high standard!

    Jenny, Wedding, Essex, July 2016
  • Very satisfied! The band agreed to play a song which was not on their list for our first dance which was great. Their set list was good and got everybody dancing and even singing. The DJ sets they played were good as well and provided a good mix of well-known tunes for everyone to enjoy.
The sound and quality of the music was amazing and all our guests commented on how good they were.

Steph & Tim, Wedding, Kent, July 2016
  • The guys were great and the dance floor was full the whole time they were playing. Everyone I spoke to after the wedding would mention how much fun they had and how the band were a major part of that!

    Dave, Wedding, London, December 2015
  • We were extremely satisfied with Millennium Bug - they are fantastic musicians, had excellent song choices and everyone talked about them all night long. Really lovely guys too! Dance floor was busy all night long and I would highly recommend them!

    Jordana, Wedding, Tetbury, December 2015
  • I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you but also to sing the band's praises - they really were awesome! By the time they kicked into their second set, they had the place jumping! Everybody commented on how professional and talented they were - thank you so, so much! Millennium Bug helped to make the day totally magical!

    Emma, Wedding, Essex, July 2015
  • They did a great job! The band stepped in at the last minute to cover for an act that pulled out of the gig. Talking to Charlie over the phone gave me confidence that the band and DJ would be able to do the performance we were looking for and also advised that two 60 minute sets would work better than the three 40 minute sets we asked for.
The performance was great! Really good from both vocals and instrumental. Lots of guests commented that the band were great and really made the evening event. I would book them again and would recommend them!

Sarah, Wedding, Mallory Court, June 2015
  • Millennium Bug played my wedding 2nd May 2015 and were sublime! Regular contact from the lead singer: they took on-board our musical preferences & favoured songs from their playlist. They arrived punctually and set-up without fuss – very professional. The band created a great atmosphere and enhanced the celebration: we hired the three piece but would be interested in hiring the five piece for any further function(s)! This band comes highly recommended!

    Daniel, Wedding, Hertfordshire, May 2015
  • The band were great. Everyone really enjoyed them at the wedding and it made the evening so much more fun! Thanks!

    Maria, Wedding, Kent, March 2015
  • The bands performance was amazing. The best wedding band I have seen. All the members were extremely skilled and talented. I am an experienced guitar player/musician and the level of skill was exceptional which showed as they always had a full dance floor and everyone loved them and were commenting on their ability. It was one of my jobs as groomsman to sort the band as live music is really important to me and I'm so glad I picked them. They were extremely lively and fun. They had an impromptu sing off which went down really well. They were very professional both in the way they came across and the promptness of their arrival and set up. I would highly recommend them. If you are struggling to select songs you can let them chose as they know what works. Overall full marks just because they were that good. Also their price was really good compared to some 5 piece bands.

    Chris, Wedding, Oxfordshire, September 2014
  • These guys were fantastic. Their sound was fabulous and their selection of songs absolutely perfect for the moment, the crowd, the occasion etc.

    James, Wedding, Woburn, August, 2014
  • We couldn't have been happier with Millennium Bug! They absolutely got the party started at our wedding and got both young and old on the dance floor. We loved their extensive repertoire, songs that everyone knows and loves. A particular highlight for us was when they played 'Buddy Holly' by Weezer. Our guests have all raved about the band since! Thank you so much guys for making our wedding the huge party we hoped it would be.

    Katie, Wedding, Dorset, August 2014
  • They were AMAZING!!! The dance floor was crammed the whole time they played, which is exactly what we hoped for! They were patient waiting to set up when we ran over on speeches and they quickly copped on to the fact we loved rock and singing and were brilliant at playing to the audience! It was a gamble booking someone you only heard on the internet, but we 100% recommend them and would love to be somewhere they're playing again...need another excuse for a party!!

    Emma, Wedding, Reading, August 2014
  • Millennium Bug were absolutely amazing at Alfatronix 35th company birthday celebration on Friday 25th July 2014. Played a wide range of music and were brilliant. Everyone was commenting on how good they were! It was a pleasure to meet them and they certainly made our event special. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

    Michelle, Party, London, July 2014
  • We thought that Millennium Bug were fantastic. They drew a big crowd during both of their sets, and lots of guests commented on how good they sounded!!

    Joe, Wedding, Berkshire, July 2014
  • Just wanted to say a massive thank you or what turned out to be an excellent night. Everyone we have spoken to said that Millennium Bug made the night!

    Jon, Wedding, June 2014
  • The band were great. Played good varied music and really got everyone going!

    Joanna, Wedding, Surrey, May 2014
  • The band were great, everyone commented on how good they were! They were friendly and played our first dance song really well.

    Andrea, Wedding, Essex, December 2013
  • We had a great night and the music was an integral part of it. Millennium Bug were professional and friendly, arriving on time and setting up quickly. The band responded well to our request for them to start off quieter and build up volume and tempo. They were great too when it came to the end of their first set, people we really getting in the swing of the music so they played over their allotted set time in order to keep the atmosphere going! A good mix of songs kept our guests of all ages entertained. We had nothing but positive comments!

Rachael, Private leaving party, London, November 2013
  • We were extremely happy with Millennium Bug - they played an excellent set, and kept us all dancing throughout the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band! They were very friendly and easy to communicate with, both prior to the day and on the day itself. One of our young cousins wanted to get on stage and sing a song, and the band happily invited her on stage - very much appreciated! We cannot recommend them highly enough.

    Rosie, Wedding, Oxfordshire, August 2013
  • I was absolutely elated! All party attendees commented on the band and how wonderful they were. The band were very clever in recognising what style of music was pulling people to the dance floor and they stuck with that approach through the whole evening. It worked. Talking about it all day at work.

Sarah, Party, West Sussex, March 2013
  • On the day of our wedding an enormous snow dump was dropped on most of the South of England. This obviously caused more than a few problems on the day, but despite this the band still turned up early with plenty of time. The performance was fantastic. They opened up ater dinner initially with a 40 min acoustic set which was a perfect way to start the evening and warm the guests up. The whole band then went on to perform a further two sets of totally spot-on dance floor fillers!! Many of the guests commented to us throughout the evening about how good they thought the band were. In short, they made the evening and got everybody moving. You can't ask for more than that so thank you chaps.

    Rob, Wedding, Farnham, January 2013
  • By song the third song the dance floor was full and it stayed that way throughout the whole evening! We saw people dancing who do not normally take to the dance floor and we put it down to the quality of the band, not the quantity of alcohol?!? Both throughout the evening and since, everyone has commented upon the "great band".

Nigel, 25th Anniversary, Surrey, October 2012
  • A massive thank you from me, and everyone at II Squadron. The band were brilliant and I have had loads of people come up to me saying how good they were. We would have no hesitation in using them again. Finally a thank you to yourself for sorting everything out and putting up with all my questions!!

John, HM Forces Event, Suffolk, September 2012
  • They were absolutely amazing! The lead singer had an awsome voice and they are all brilliant musicians. They played all the songs from the playlist we asked them to play, managed very nicely that our first dance song was played at the right time and also played the music to a song my friends were singing to us. We were so touched! Their presentation and communication is very professional and fun. Not to mention that they were there absolutely on time etc. I would with no doubt recommend this band to my best friend! Katharina

    Katharina, Wedding, Maidenhead, May 2012
  • Yes, we were extremely pleased with Millennium Bug, our crowd can sometimes be a hard lot to please due to the fact the age range is fairly wide. Feedback received from everyone who attended was great! The band were enthusiastic, extremely entertaining and got everyone up on their feet. They happily played a wide range of songs to suit all and to a very high quality. I had a couple of conversations with the lads before and after the performance to sort out a few of the finer details and they could not have been more professional or courteous. I would definitely recommend them to all and due to popular request we are seriously considering booking them again for our next event.

Kirsty, Corporate Event, Lincolnshire, December 2011
  • We hired Millennium Bug for a joint party for my husband's 60th and my daughter's 30th. They were absolutely fantastic. They were polite, efficient, fun and very professional. We all really enjoyed their company and their music was outstanding. They coped really well with the different age groups and we all loved their playlist. I cannot praise them enough.

    Dianne, 30th & 60th Birthdays, Surrey, October 2011
  • Please pass on my greatest thanks to Millennium Bug for their brilliant performance on Saturday night. I have had so many people say how good they were and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with our choice. We had a fantastic evening which we will remember for a long time to come. We would both be happy to recommend the band to anyone considering them in the future. All lovely chaps too! Thanks again.

    Phillipa, Wedding, Kent, June 2011
  • Millennium Bug had a great repertoire catering for all our wedding guests and they did a fantastic job at creating a party atmosphere all night long. They were happy to learn our first dance song and they played it brilliantly. We barely left the dance floor after that and I never thought I'd see my in-laws dancing to Guns N' Roses at midnight, what an achievement! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Millennium Bug as good value entertainment.

    Steve, Wedding, Sussex, December 2010
  • We first spotted Millennium Bug at our friends wedding in Cardiff two years ago. We were so impressed by them that we had to book them for our wedding. They did not let our expectations of them down, they were truly awesome and all of our wedding guests mentioned to us after that the band was really, really good. Even the hotelier praised them for their manners when they turned up at the hotel as they asked him where he wanted them to set up, infact he said that they came in with little equipment and he had quite low expectations of them but as soon as they set up and started playing they just blew him away, he thought that they were fantastic, the best band he had ever had at his hotel. They had our guests up dancing all night, we can't thank them enough. Their best song of the night was Kings of Leon, Sex on fire. They catered for all of our guests singing from the 60's to the 2000's, we would highly recommend them, they were worth every penny.

Craig, Wedding, South Wales, July 2010
  • Jenny and I just wanted to thank you and the rest of Millennium Bug for an awesome performance at our wedding at Blenheim Palace. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed your music very much. Thanks again.

Brendan and Jenny, Wedding, Oxfordshire, August 2010
  • We wanted to write to say that Millennium Bug rocked our wedding on the 7th August 2010. They were simply fantastic. Everyone was dancing, singing, playing air guitar, and they even got us crowd surfing. They were exactly what we hoped for; thoroughly professional, very personable and most importantly, very accomplished. Guests were raving on the night and long after about how great they were and how their covers sounded just like the originals.

Robert and Becky, Wedding, August 2010
  • Millennium Bug were absolutely fantastic at our Wedding in Cornwall in June 2010. A big thank you to the lads for getting everyone onto the dancefloor and keeping them there. Their playlist appealed to all ages and there was not a single person anywhere other than the dancefloor by midnight, at which point they were coerced into a great encore. The guys arrived on time despite the long journey to Cornwall, they were friendly throughout, and set up quickly & quietly whilst we ate. Lots of our guests have asked where we found Millennium Bug and we haven't hesitated to recommend them for weddings and parties. A special thanks should go to the chaps at Function Central, Mike & Ali, who were a great help throughout. Thank you.

Meg and Dan, Wedding, Cornwall, June 2010
  • The band was excellent and I had lots of positive comments from our guests about how good they were. All of the songs sung sounded like the original band which was great. The selection of songs were well chosen and there were lots of people dancing. I would definitely recommend them. Some people said I was mad searching the web for bands and booking a band through an agency without recommendation, but I couldn't have asked for a better service from the agency or the band.

    Emma, Wedding, Essex, November 2009
  • Millennium Bug were amazing, we couldn't have picked a better band for our wedding. all our guests were asking where we found such a great band. They were on time and very professional a really nice bunch of very talented guys. They were truly excellent. Many thanks!

    Sarah, Wedding, Kent, November 2009
  • Millennium Bug were the centre piece of my daughter’s 18 birthday party last September and they were a stunning success. We had hired a marquee for our garden and they brought their own sound guy and occupied a decent section of the front of the floor. Exceptionally professional. The kids just loved them. They put together a wonderful set of classics during their first stint; joined in and had some curry with us at their break and then came back "on stage" to perform a further stint of modern stuff; Coldplay etc. Superb. A long quality set; great guitar work, super vocals. The guys were also kind and generous and mingled with the 100 or so guests of all ages.
Anyway, I'd recommend them and as its my sons 16th next May tell them to expect a call!

    Phil, 18th Birthday, September 2009
  • Millennium Bug played at our wedding on 15th August and absolutely made the evening. Their playlist was perfect and their performance and energy were amazing. Despite a tricky sound limiter at the venue, the songs all sounded as good as the originals and the dance floor was packed all night. We had so many compliments about our choice of band, and I wouldn't be surprised if any of the guests ask how to get in touch with them for future parties. Thanks again boys - you were fantastic! And I wouldn't hesitate to use Function Central again, Ali was so helpful from start to finish, offering sound advice when I was looking for a band and making the whole process really easy. All in all I don't think we could have found a better agency or band!!

    Maddy, Wedding, London, August 2009
  • Millennium Bug was absolutely fantastic....from the moment they started with our Wedding Song till the end of the final set they performed brilliantly. They have a great stage presence and could make all ages want to get up and dance. Their rendition of Video Killed The Radio Star was a highlight as they asked for the boys to go head to head singing with the girls which was great fun. They are a very smart band and I understand from the ladies, their looks weren't that bad either! I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone having a special party looking for a band.

    Andy, Wedding, Sussex, August 2009
  • Millennium Bug were outstanding. They arrived and set up without us even noticing - which is great for the bride and groom! - and played a varied set of songs. We were extremely grateful they learnt our first song for us - Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer - which we will remember forever.

Michael and Louise, Wedding, Somerset, August 2009
  • Thanks Mike and the team for all your help and professionalism in organising a live band for our wedding reception. As you know we lost a band very close to our wedding day only for you guys to step in to help - and what a fantastic choice in Millennium Bug. Your website was really useful and easy communication and booking between us took away all the worries.

Graham and Jo, Wedding, Mid Sussex, May 2009
  • Thanks very much to Millennium Bug for helping to make our day so special. Everyone had a great time and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants a live band! Cheers guys! And totally impressed with all correspondence from everyone from my initial enquiry til the actual day. If I had a problem, it was resolved quickly. Thanks very much.

    Drew, Wedding, London, April 2009
  • The band were amazing, the guys were very professional on the night and the music was great, they made every effort to sing the songs requested by our guests and they sounded great. I really think they made the wedding and everyone was talking about them afterwards.

Geraldine, Wedding, January, London, April 2009
  • Millennium Bug were fantastic. Several of our guests remarked on how good they were - they packed the dance floor - and we still receive compliments about them nearly 2 years on. Function Central were extremely professional and organised in all our dealings and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. I will certainly use them again if the occasion permits.

    Liz, Wedding, March 2009
  • A huge thank you to Millennium Bug - top tunes boys!! You judged perfectly, and cracked a tough crowd. Everyone was up dancing all night with a mix of current indie, pop, great 80’s classics and just the right touch of cheese!!

Fiona, Corporate New Year Party, London, April 2009
  • The performance of Millennium Bug at our wedding evening reception really had the guests rocking. The quality and depth of their sound, including the vocals, was stunning. Many of their covers sounded as good as the originals. Their repertoire was ideal for the occasion and they were highly professional throughout, and nice guys to deal with. We recommend them with confidence.

Katie and Andrew, Wedding, Hertfordshire, September 2008
  • We would just like to say thank you to Millennium Bug who played superbly at our wedding reception. The music was fab, everybody was up on the dance floor. Highly recommended to entertain a wide age range of wedding guests. Thanks!!!

Nele, Wedding, September, Essex, August 2008
  • Ned and I were very impressed with Millennium Bug when they played at our wedding reception at Audley End house in September. They kept all of our guests, of varying ages and tastes, on the dancefloor all night! Their choice of tracks were brilliant and had everyone singing along. They created a real party atmosphere with people oblivious to the torrential rain outside the marquee. We thought they were a very talented band and we have had lots of positive feedback from our guests. We would definitely recommend Millennium Bug to others and would use them again ourselves if the occasion arose. Many thanks to you and Alistair for all your help with finding them.

Charlotte and Ned, Wedding, September, London, August 2008
  • The band were fantastic! From the friendly way that they introduced themselves to the professional yet fun way they performed, Millennium Bug made our night for us. The music was amazing (someone outside even asked when the band was going to start as they thought it was the original CD!), the band were lively, looked fantastic, and tailored themselves perfectly to the audience. They obviously enjoy what they do and this was infectious. I wouldn't even look around if I needed a band again - I'd go straight to Millennium Bug!

Julie and Rob, Wedding Party, West Midlands, August 2008
  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how fantastic Millennium Bug were at my party! Not only did they play everything better than the originals, they were charming funny and very tolerant of our antics! They absolutely made the party and I am very grateful! Please pass my comments on to them and expect a surge in bookings from the south!!! Every single person there commented on how great they were and any future occasions they will be looking to book them! Once again, thanks to both you and the band for making my 50th birthday perfect! Just wish I COULD DO IT ALL AGAIN!

Lyn, B'day Party, August, Surrey, July 2008
  • Thanks again for your help Alistair. We loved them - what a band!

Jane, 30th Party, London, December 2006
  • I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to the band for being so great and to you for all help in sorting out a band for our wedding. Even the oldies at the wedding were raving about how good the band was, we thought they were brilliant, their cover of Reef was the dogs b******* (excellent)!!

    Julie, Wedding, London, September 2006
  • Just a quick mail to say thank you so much for recommending Millennium Bug - they looked and sounded great!
