• Penfold ... Well what can I say! We were absolutely blown away with their performance! My husband spoke with Matt at great length before the wedding to establish the sort of music we wanted played and I think even gave him a list of songs we'd love to have. The chaps played everything we wanted and amazingly well! The energy and enthusiasm they had just helped make it a fantastic party! I dont think there was any point from the time they got on the stage to the time they packed up when there weren't plenty of people dancing on the dance floor! They were truly awesome!!! :-) Literally most of the guests commented on how good they were and some friends of ours even booked them there and then for their upcoming wedding (which they already had a DJ booked for and later cancelled!!)

• We hired Penfold to play at our wedding and were very pleased with their professionalism from start to finish. Function Central provided a personal service, which catered to all of our requests and enabelled us to organise our evening music in a quick, hassle free manner. Penfold arrived smartly dressed and set up with minimal disturbance to our guests. In no time, they were playing our first dance which they learnt and adapted especially for us. Our guests were treated to an excellent mix of classic and modern tunes which kept them dancing throughout the evening. The band are clearly a talented group of young professionals, with many of our guests commenting on their ability and flair when performing! At one point the band gathered all of our guests to the dancefloor and invited myself and my husband to perform a spontaneous, upbeat dance for all of our friends and family to enjoy - much to our suprise! Thank you again to Penfold for providing us with such wonderful music!

• Penfold played at a 40th birthday party for my wife and I. It was largely a reunion of old college mates with many people who we had worked with over the years. The band members were very friendly from the moment they arrived and had the right balance of professionalism and fun throughout. They were accommodating in building the setlist around a number of songs that we chose from their playlist. They were very good at keeping the tempo right and improvised in a number of songs to make it more interactive (which might sound a bit naff, but was great fun). A really nice bunch of blokes who were very laid back and kept the crowd singing and dancing for most of the night. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

• We booked Penfold to play at our wedding reception based on their wide repertoire and they did not disappoint! The dance floor at our venue wasn't big enough as they catered for all ages and they even learnt our first dance song without us knowing and only a weeks notice of the song we were having. The guys in the band were really friendly before, during and after the gig so if you want a top covers band to keep the dance floor jumping all night long then look no further. The service from Function Central was excellent as they were prompt to deal with any queries we had prior to the event.

• Penfold were awesome. We had first heard them at a friend's wedding, playing in a marquee where they had the whole crowd jumping. We really wanted to have them play at our wedding as well, though we were worried as the room was much smaller than a marquee. If anything they were even better. The music really suited our tastes and even our parents were dancing (not a common sight). Would I listen to them again - yes; would I book them again - hell yes.

• Penfold played during the evening party for my daughter's wedding day. The guests were a mixture of ages and musical tastes, but the dance floor was full all night. Never once did we have to urge people onto the dance floor. Penfold were so popular that at the end of their set performance time, the guests were on the dance floor chanting for an encore, and although it was late, Penfold did a few more songs. Penfold played all the songs we had chosen from their long and varied playlist. The quality of singing and instrument playing was really good. The guys themselves were friendly and accommodating. I cannot recommend them enough and I would definitely book them again for any more special family parties.

• Penfold were excellent and I'd have no hesitation in recommending them. They were extremely professional, arriving and setting up in the narrowest of time slots without any need for supervision. They played 3 sets, each one capturing our guests and keeping the dancefloor full all night long. All of our guests have since commented on how good "the band" were, often before they commented on how nice the wedding itself was (much to my wife's distraction!) • I'll keep this brief as this is very easy to say...thanks Penfold for helping to make our day so special, simply put they were brilliant and surpassed all our best expectations.

 The three sets worked perfect and the dancefloor was packed the entire time from the most senior members of our family and friends to the youngest. 

The band were super professional and worked with us prior to the day to make sure everything on the day went smoothly. The playlist was brilliant and catered for everyone's taste and technically the guys are fantastic musicians with amazing vocals. 

We have also lost count of the amount of guests who without prompting commented on how amazing Penfold were and how they made the evening part of the wedding reception such high energy and fun. 

Thank you Penfold and we are now looking for another occasion to use you!!

• We booked Penfold to play at our wedding reception at Coombe Abbey Hotel in Coventry in August of this year. The day went really well and the band arrived as planned and set up. After approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of great music and everyone dancing there was a power cut across the grid but Coombes backup generator failed and we were left with no power and just candlelight.
  This is when Penfold came into their own. Luckily a guest had brought an acoustic guitar and Penfold carried on the show with a lot of help from everyone at the wedding, If anything it made the night more interesting for everyone there. The lads stayed till the end and people comment all the time about what a great time they had having a good old fashioned sing along.
  I would recommend Penfold to anyone who wants a good, very versatile band who won't throw the towel in when there’s a hitch. Thanks for a fantastic night.

• We have been meaning to email Penfold to thank them for their performance at our wedding this August. The band totally made our wedding. Speaking to friends and family about our wedding everyone has said how amazing Penfold were. They were brilliant before hand in speaking about our song choice and very professional on the night. • We've been meaning to write to say that Penfold were excellent as a 3 piece. • Penfold played at our wedding on May 10 and were exceptional. Peter, the frontman, was extremely friendly and accommodating in the build-up and on the day itself. We had agreed for them to play two sets with a break in the middle, but as dinner ran over (by an hour!) they were forced to begin late through no fault of their own. Without making any fuss at all they got up and played a two-hour set without a rest. Complete pros! What is more, they were absolutely fantastic. • We had a lovely day that was topped off perfectly by the evening. The band were absolutely fantastic - they really really made the night. They had everyone up on the dancefloor all night.
