Having played together in bands for over ten years, Gloucestershire-based acoustic guitar/vocal duo Ben & Jon listed everything they play and realised they know loads of great songs! DJ service available.

Acclaimed London musicians Ben "one of the most naturally gifted singers of his generation" and Jon, of acclaimed Merseyside pop band Amsterdam perform top drawer versions of these great songs which include, amongst many others the music of Johnny Cash, Van Morrison, The Strokes, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, U2, Elvis Presley, Beatles, Prince. The band are suited to either background music or a rockin' night's dancing, and are skilled at getting crowds up on the floor and on their feet.

The guys have in the past been resident musicians in both Regents Street uber cool Cuckoo Club and South Londons Entertainment mecca 'The Bedford'. They're also available as a kicking rock covers band The Wild Nights (White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Arctic Monkeys), one of our most popular wedding bands in Gloucestershire and the South West.

The Wild Nights Duo can provide their own laptop DJ service, before, between and after their performance (featuring mixed tunes, a huge catalogue of songs and laser lighting), saving you on the cost (and space) of hiring a separate DJ.

What people say Help

  • The Wild Nights played at our wedding and were absolutely fantastic! Leading up to the event they were great at finding out what tunes I wanted added to the DJ playlist and helping me choose a first dance. On the night, their tunes kept the dance floor packed and I had tonnes of guests and venue staff asking me where I found them. They really nailed it! Thanks guys for the epic music.

  • The band were excellent. Great communication before the event and very professional at the wedding. The music they played was great and was commented on by many guests. We would totally recommend them to anyone holding a function. Thank you!

  • The band were fantastic. Two played while guests arrived, then for the ceremony and while we had drinks etc. and then the band played again in the evening. Everybody wanted to dance to their great music and they were fun, and really laid back which meant no stress. This was all arranged in less than a week as they stepped in at the last minute when the original band could no longer play. They provided a microphone for the ceremony, organised the music my daughter wanted and were very accommodating as they had to share the evening with a group from Germany. I can recommend them to make your evening special.

  • Given their excellent reviews we had high hopes and we were not disappointed, the pair could not have been a better choice. They were incredibly accommodating of our requests, down to earth, friendly, professional and picked up on the relaxed atmosphere of the wedding. I think they got everyone on the dance floor! Our expectations were blown out of the water, we were so so pleased with the band.

  • We were absolutely overjoyed with our choice. Everyone down to the youngest guests of age 2, right up the oldest (won't age shame!) were dancing and the music they played really appealed to everyone!! I don't think the dance floor was empty at any point! They were both incredibly professional and very helpful in the process leading up to the big day!

    Megan, Wedding, London, July 2016
  • Wild nights duo were the ideal way to get our guests dancing in the evening, playing a brilliant variety of music, both recent hits and classics.
They were outstanding and we couldn't have asked for nicer people to be involved in our wedding.

Sam and Jane, Wedding, Bristol, May 2016
  • The Wild Nights Duo were fantastic! They were really polite, friendly, and helpful! They had everyone dancing all night, and lots of people commented on how brilliant they were!

    Rosie, Wedding, London, April 2016
  • My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the duo, they were very punctual and very professional. We were a bit worried that a duo might not be enough to get people dancing, but everyone was on their feet from the very first song till the very last one. They also have a very good and large repertoire suitable for all tastes. Overall they were excellent, I would highly recommend them!

  • The Wild Nights Duo were fantastic. They got everyone dancing and were perfect for the theme of our wedding. They were very relaxed, arrived with plenty of time and set up with no problems. They were very professional and friendly. We asked them to learn our first dance and they did a great job, it was the perfect opening song. They also tailored the playlist to our preferences and were open to suggestions. Overall they were excellent! Would very much recommend them! Thank you guys!

    Leanna, Wedding, Somerset, August 2015
  • The Wild Nights Duo were absolutely fantastic, catering for all our guests at our daughter's wedding, from ages 6 - 85! They were a joy to have, extremely polite and efficient and had everyone on the dance floor from the time of their first set until the end of the evening - every guest, bar none, commented on how fabulous they were. Couldn't recommend them more highly!

    Annie, Wedding, Gloucestershire, May 2015
  • They were excellent and everyone commented on how good they were. By he end of the night our guests couldn't help but to get on their feet and start dancing. The first dance performance was also fantastic and something we will remember forever. They were friendly and really helpful throughout the planning process and delivered a better than expected set on he night.

    Meghan, Wedding, Gloucestershire, April 2015
  • We booked the Wild Night Duo to perform at our wedding reception and cannot recommend them highly enough. The booking and preparation from Function Central and the band themselves was polite, well organised and easy. They arrived early to the reception and were really accommodating when our meal and speeches run over! They adapted their three sets into two longer sets to maximise their playing time. One of our reasons for choosing them was their vast array of songs. They picked a great set list which appealed to all generations of guest. They had the most unlikely guests up dancing and singing. Great memories! We lost count of the amount of compliments we heard about their fantastic vocals and guitar playing. I cannot compliment them enough. Top music, top gentlemen. Do not hesitate in booking the Wild Night Duo, they will not disappoint. Live music every time people!

    Stuart, Wedding, Gloucestershire, December 2014
  • The band were fantastic. We loved the variety of music that they played and thoroughly enjoyed the performance, having a good dance along - as did our wedding guests!! Thanks for helping to make it such a special day!!

    Naomi, Wedding, Exeter, March 2014
  • The guys were fantastic. Musically they are outstanding. They play fantastic tunes which are perfect for any party and certainly ideal for filling the dance floor at a wedding! We have had so many people from the wedding commenting on just how good the band were and wondering how on earth we found them. We are so pleased as we thoroughly enjoyed their performance and they really topped off our wedding reception superbly. We highly recommend the Wild Nights Duo, thank you guys.

    David, Wedding, Tetbury, April 2014
  • We found The Wild Nights Duo very professional. They arrived on time and did 3 great sets, then we had a disco - a good time was had by all!

Richard, Wedding Party, Shaftesbury, April 2014
  • Wild night's quality was brilliant, soulful vocals with fun songs. Great classics, no tacky ones with lots of modern tunes as well. Also we liked their style which was perfect for the venue, young trendy guys which was refreshing and stylish. They also were perfect for the venue size with just two of them. Extremely satisfied! The duo were professional throughout, friendly and very helpful. My husband choose them and he never dances at events, we couldn't get him off the dance floor. We had a some crazy guests jiving which added to the fun so I think they loved it as much as we did.

    Carlia, Wedding, Essex, June 2013
  • We were very satisfied with the act and their play list was exactly right for our guests. They were really professional and appeared to sense what would go down well and what to play when guests were not dancing. From a practical point of view, they arrived on time, quietly got on with preparing their stage, played for the agreed amount of time and quietly got on with taking down their stage - I was really impressed.

    Marj, Wedding Salisbury, December 2012
  • The Guys arrived on time, were very professional, and their music was first rate. Many guests stated they thought they were excellent! We would certainly hire them again.

    Colin, Wedding, Bristol, July 2012
  • We hired the Wild Nights Duo to play at our wedding, based on their great repertoire, their strong voices and laid-back style. They were exactly what we were looking for and didn't disappoint. Jonny and Ben were gracious and professional; lovely, friendly guys. Jonny rang us in advance to discuss details which put us at ease and meant no problems on the day. Excellent musicians, their performance was perfect and inspired all ages to get up and dance. By the second set our little dance floor was rammed with guests singing at the top of their voices. A fantastic live act and I would highly recommend them, not only for weddings. I would definitely consider hiring them again in the future.

    Ruth, Wedding, Derbyshire, June 2012
  • We were delighted with our choice of band for our recent wedding. The band were such a nice group of lads, and helped to make our evening just perfect. I would highly recommend them to anyone who was considering having live music at any event, and hope that perhaps one day we will have the opportunity to see them play again.

Carolyn and David, Wedding, August 2010
  • Excellent band. Great musicians. Lead singer has got a really soulful voice. Really nice guys and they don't look cheesy!

Roy, Club Manager, London June 2010
  • The Wild Nights were fabulous! Charlie and I were very impressed. Quite a few of our guests have said how great they thought the band were and the choice of songs they played was perfect.

    Sarah, Wedding, Gloucestershire, January 2010
  • The Wild Nights were absolutely brilliant! We and our guests enjoyed them immensely and were sad when they completed their sets! The range of songs they played was excellent for the range of guests we had at our wedding and there was something for everyone. The guys were helpful, polite, professional and out to please us with their performance. We have nothing but praise for them and hope we can use them for another event in the future and will definitely recommend them to friends and family. Thanks again.

Steve and Becky, Wedding, London, August 2008
  • Thank Ben & John for a fabulous night - they were awesome and would definitely book them again if they'll have us!

Owen and Victoria, Wedding London, August 2008
  • They played brilliantly, had all the talent we'd expected, but bags more personality and good humour than we could have hoped for. They even allowed a group of drunk guests (my brother and mates) to steal the microphones and sing 'American Pie' whilst the true professionals (the band) just took up backing vocals and guitars... it was hilarious, and everyone has commented on it since. It was one of the highlights of the day. They were truly wonderful, and both such lovely blokes, we couldn't have asked for anything more.

    Ness, Party, London, July 2008
  • We'll never forget their beautiful rendition of 'stand by me' for our first dance, we were both nervous and they made it feel so natural, and when everyone began singing along with the band when the chorus came around... well, it was pure magic. So please pass on my thanks to them for making our evening so perfect.

Hannah and Charles, Wedding, London, July 2008
  • The ‘Chill Out’ area was where The Wild Nights performed post dinner.
The client was very pleased with their performance. Many thanks again to all for their great efforts!
