With energy, enthusiasm, bundles of talent and a completely live sound, Dakota perform near-perfect renditions of some of the biggest rock, pop and indie songs of the last 5 decades, drawing on huge anthems from Queen, Kings of Leon, The Killers right through to Pharrell, DNCE and Daft Punk.

Between them, the band have a wealth of experience in the music industry, touring and recording with artists such as Take That, John Entwistle, and Robin Trower. When they're not performing alongside rock royalty, they’re filling dancefloors up and down the country at weddings and functions.

Best Live band I've ever seen! Ben Jones, Presenter Virgin Radio

Previous functions the band have played at include The ITV Awards, Carlsberg Festival, Rugby League Millenium Magic, Tigi Awards and numerous celebrity weddings. They’re a premium option for more discerning clients!

Dakota are reliable, approachable and always immaculately dressed and will do their best to make sure the music for your event is tailored to your requirements. They can also provide an acoustic set with guitars, 3-part harmonies and lighter percussion suitable for smaller venues and background music at ceremonies, receptions and corporate events. We highly rate them!

Book with confidence! After events, we ask our clients what they thought of our acts. We publish what they say here, so you can read genuine, unbiased feedback before booking.

“Dakota were absolutely brilliant. They were very accommodating over the set up and our first dance choice. But most importantly, they sounded really, really good and got everybody dancing. Thanks Dakota!”

Anna, Wedding at Frederick's Restaurant in Islington, June 2019

“I just wanted to pop you a note to say a huge THANKYOU for being our amazingly talented wedding band. We couldn't have wished for a better band to get everyone up on their feet and dancing the night away. You read the crowd superbly and we had lots of comment from our guest about the great tunes and how brilliant you all were. And a very special thanks from Darren and I for singing our first dance, Iris. It was a moment we won't forget. You have very successfully gained two more groupies! I hope we get to see you play again!”

Roseanne & Darren, Wedding, March 2018

“Thank you so much for making our wedding reception absolutely perfect. You were professional, punctual, friendly and most of all the songs were unbelievable. All our guests were saying how fantastic you were. Every song was superb and this was reflected in a full dance floor all night. Thank you for the first dance song of an acoustic version of The one I love by David Gray. Thank you so much for everything!”

Adam & Laura, Wedding, January 2018

“The act were incredible! We were in contact before the event and they totally understood the type of songs I was looking for and the delivered two great sets. Very professional guys, I would definitely book this act again!”

Paul, Wedding at Bedford Lodge in Newmarket, December 2017

“The band were excellent, just a shame they could not go on longer!”
