Grand Central specialise in pop, funk and soul grooves. They’re a band that love to play songs from the 60s and 70s by the likes of Curtis Mayfield, Average White Band, Stevie Wonder and James Brown. They also throw in modern classics like Uptown Funk and Get Lucky to make your guests dance.

The band have entertained corporate clients such as Hilton Hotels, Airbus and Ashton Court Estate, and have rocked university parties for Newport and South Wales. Grand Central are perfect for any event.

An experienced set of professionals, the band members have worked with Kasabian’s producer Matt Sampson and performed live on TV alongside Pendulum’s guitarist Peredur ap Gwynedd. They recently performed for the Mayor of Bristol at St George’s Hall.

Having toured with a range of original artists including Bizarre Inc, Kenny Thomas and Monie Love, the band were signed to the Acid Jazz label and have performed with the BBC Orchestra – when Grand Central are playing, your event is in good hands.

Add some brass for extra impact – if you’re looking for that authentic funk sound, consider booking them with their two-piece horn section. If you want your guests to flood the dancefloor, Grand Central are the perfect band to get the party started!

I would definitely book them again, a well honed set of old songs mixed with new kept the crowd pleased. They made our day! Drew, Event Organiser, May Ball, Corporate Event
