Versatile and talented, In The Mood features a stunning female vocalist backed by a youthful and experienced band. The band will transform the atmosphere of your party – playing sophisticated jazz music during dinner then swing, Rat Pack, soul and Motown classics to get your guests on their feet later on!

They've got jams from way back when your grandparents were groovin' to Sinatra, all the way up to the modern hits of Michael Bublé and Amy Winehouse. You name it, they'll play it!

The musicians are able to provide classical or contemporary music for wedding ceremonies, and are also available as a jazz trio or quartet, creating the perfect atmosphere for cocktail parties and dinner events.

The musicians in In The Mood have a wealth of experience, performing with a variety of ensembles at prestigious venues throughout the country.

Members of the band have appeared at the North Sea Jazz Festival, on BBC television, and are regularly employed for session work throughout the UK with artists such as Elton John, Russell Watson, and Barbara Windsor.

The band regularly perform their swing and soul classics at corporate events and private functions all over the country and In The Mood’s previous clients include E-ON UK and The Royal Air Force.

Your event is special to the band and every gig is treated separately, ensuring that your requirements are met. From choosing the perfect line-up to suit your event to smaller details such as the dress code, special requests and performance times, In The Mood aim to be completely flexible to make sure that you get the perfect entertainment for your event.

The 7 to 14-piece line-ups are suitable for any size audience from 40 people to 400+. They’re self-contained with a top quality Mackie PA system and lighting rig with effects. Music between sets is provided free of charge along with a microphone for speeches.

The band also offer their own in-house laptop DJ service, offering mixed songs and requests between, during and after their band sets, for a nominal fee. This saves on the additional space, hassle and cost of hiring in a separate DJ and PA system.
