Mersey String Ensemble are a versatile, dynamic, all female string ensemble based in Liverpool.

They were formed in 2015 whilst studying at Paul McCartney’s music college “The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts” and now regularly perform at weddings, corporate events and private functions around the UK and overseas.

Members of Mersey String Trio and Quartet also make up the string section of top UK tribute band ‘The ELO Show’ and they have also played backing strings for Britain’s Got Talent’s ‘Richard & Adam’.

They have featured three times on Hollyoaks on Channel 4, they are the resident string quartet with ‘Incredible 11’ an 11 piece hip-hop orchestra based in the Baltic Triangle and they perform annually as part of Radio City’s Cash for Kids Christmas Concert.

Mersey String Ensemble also frequently collaborate with bands and artists in Merseyside and beyond including; Robert Vincent, The Christians, Ian Prowse & Amsterdam, Zuzu, Circa Waves and many more.

Members of the ensemble are professional arrangers and are able to score original string parts for bands and artists, whilst also being able to arrange any song request for weddings and other events.
