Oona offers a wide repertoire of music in different styles ranging from classical, to Celtic, to modern, on both the full-sized concert harp and smaller Celtic harp, tailored to create the perfect ambience for the particular special occasion.

Although weddings and restaurant bookings provide most of Oona’s work, she is an extremely versatile harpist: recent engagements range from a cocktail party for the Duke of Westminster at the Chester Grosvenor Hotel, a performance for ‘Chester in Concert’ to a recital of Celtic music to a group of alternative therapy practitioners at ‘Tower’ stately home in North Wales, and even background music during a ‘Singles Shopping Evening’ at Safeway supermarket!

Oona qualified with a degree in harp studies and performance from Bangor University in 2004, and as part of the qualification even wrote a thesis on the Irish Harp, meaning that she is now somewhat of an authority on the subject!

Book with confidence! After events, we ask our clients what they thought of our acts. We publish what they say here, so you can read genuine, unbiased feedback before booking.

“Oona was amazing! Our guests were really impressed with the music during our wedding ceremony and it created the exact feel that we wanted for it. She was also really accommodating with our specific music requests for the entrance and exit songs. The planning/booking process through the agency ran very smoothly, which we were also really grateful for.”

Hollie, Wedding at The Normans Farm in Bilbrough, October 2018

“Oona was brilliant. She made it so special and all our guests loved her. She stayed from the ceremony right until the wedding breakfast and it was nice to have her playing whilst everyone was eating. It created a romantic atmosphere. I would love to have her again at another event!”

Mandy & Gary, Wedding, Lancashire, October 2009

“Oona exceeded all our expectations; the music we chose combined with Oona's own selections made the day so memorable - I only wish I could have listened for longer, Lots of positive comments from many guests about our choice for music at the wedding. There was nothing needed for improvement, Oona was excellent.”

Graham, Wedding, Cheshire, October 2009

“When you suggested Oona Linnett and sent me samples of her music, I knew straight away that she would be perfect for our big day. We were not disappointed. The music was beautiful and fit in perfectly with the romantic feel to the day. I only wish that I was able to speak with Oona directly on the day to extend my thanks to her - unfortunately the day passed by in a complete blur and the opportunity did not arise. Please let Oona know of my comments if you will be so kind.”

Nicola Cusack, Wedding, Cheshire, June 2009

“Oona was absolutely fabulous, it made the event very special and was received well from both the Mayor of West Bromwich and all our guests. Would recommend to anyone.”

Kerry Volante, Wedding, Birmingham, September 2008

“Please could you pass on Harvey's and my thanks to Oona for her fab harp playing on Saturday. I didn't get to speak to her personally on Saturday but we really enjoyed what she did and it was perfect for the day. Please can you send her a big thank you from us and for helping make it a perfect day. The venue also think she is great so I can see her playing there many times to come!”

Tracy Davies, Wedding, North Wales, December 2007

“The harpist, Oona Linnett, was fantastic. The music was wonderful and the guests all commented on how much it complimented the wedding service and reception. The music brought a few tears to the eye!”

Lisa Harper, Wedding, Shropshire, April 2007

“We would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to Oona who played at our wedding on 15/10/05. Unfortunately we were unable to thank her personally on the day. She played beautifully and everyone has commented on her playing and on how it enhanced the day. We would highly recommend her to friends in the future. May we also thank you for your services. When we were looking for a harpist we were having trouble finding one available but through yourselves got what we wanted and our enquiry from start to finish has been dealt with in a professional, friendly and timely manner. We were both impressed and pleased in receiving your e-mail advising that you were dealing with our booking following Amanda leaving the company.”
