The 12th Street Swingers have a vast repertoire of songs and are available in a range of line-ups, making them a good choice for all manner of events. They can provide anything from classy background music during a dinner party, to a full trad jazz band with vocals for an evening of energetic dancing.

Their basic line-up is a trio featuring trumpet or clarinet with banjo and sousaphone (tuba), which is ideal for informal strolling and background music.

The 12th Street Swingers were exceptionally professional. On the night they went down a storm, I can't recommend them highly enough! Rachel, Birthday party at Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire

For a different feel, the banjo and tuba can be swapped for guitar and double bass, which gives a more mainstream swing sound - taking in some rhythm and blues along the way. For a bigger impact, and great music for dancing, we recommend either the five- or six-piece line-ups, with added drums.

The 12th Street Swingers have a client list that includes Westfield Shopping Centre, Marks and Spencer and venues such as Buckingham Palace, Royal Ascot and Tower Bridge, and its members have played all over Europe at jazz festivals, major film premieres, and the Chelsea Flower Show.

Add to that countless birthday parties, barmitzvahs, funerals, river boat trips and New Year parties! Whatever the requirements for your event, chances are that The Swingers can cater for it!

“The 12th Street Swingers were amazing! We would have them again. A pleasure to work with and perfect for our events!”

Carley, Waitrose Customer Service Awards at the Waitrose Farm, Hampshire, July 2019

“The 12th Street Swingers were perfect for the event and were lovely to work with. They provided perfect background music for the reception and the roaming aspect worked really well. Loved the sousaphone also! Would definitely recommend to other event organisers and would use agency website to source acts in the future if needed.”

Katie, ARCO Annual Conference Drinks Reception at RHH Lindley Hall in London, July 2019

“Just wanted to thank all three of you for the terrific music yesterday here at Hurst Place. I’ve heard nothing but compliments from our residents and visitors alike about your performance and repertoire which was hugely enjoyed, and I trust our little bandstand/gazebo gave you adequate shelter from the sun. I wish I’d had more time to stand and listen as I love jazz. I hope we’ll have an opportunity to invite you back on another occasion, we’d love to see you again, and I’m definitely recommending our Marketing colleagues book you for some events at our other developments. One of The 12th Street Swingers’ larger combos might suit some our retirement village locations.”

Simon, Private Event, Hurst Place, July 2019

“The band was great and everyone enjoyed their music. It lent a perfect atmosphere to an outside party.”

David, Private Party, The Travellers Club in London, July 2019

“The guys were lovely. All turned up on time despite dreadful traffic, very willing to do whatever we wanted, they looked smart and played brilliantly. Would highly recommend them.”

Julie, Corporate event, Abbot's Hospital in Guildford, June 2019
